“Comfortable, but worn”
The initial impression was a bit seedy, but in fact it was quite pleasant and couldn't have been handier for trains and buses. The initial impression was a bit seedy, but in fact it was quite pleasant and couldn't have been handier for trains and buses. It is a bit shabby and worn, but everywhere was spotlessly clean and the room was big enough with an adequate bathroom. The shower had its moments with alternating scalding, freezing and no water. If you have long hair get it washed as quickly as possible before the surprises begin. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was adequate, if a bit carb. heavy and another cup of coffee would have been wecome. It's not salubrious, but it's far from being a tip.

Good hotel and nice staff . Breakfast is fairly basic but enough variety for a few days . Rooms get a lot of noise from the corridors .

“GOOD LOCATION, GOOD STAFF, CLEAN ROOM”

Lovely welcome from the friendly staff here and the location is brilliant just one street back from Termini Station but away from the madness. Our room was on the 4th floor and spotless, we were overlooking a courtyard and it was very quiet. The heating was on full and it was like a sauna as it was around 17 degrees outside. We solved this by turning it off although the room was really hot still all of our 5 night stay. Decor wasn’t as dated as previous reviews claim, it was of a traditional style and all in good order. The only problem we encountered was the fan in the bathroom, every time the bathroom light was on the fan came on. It was very noisy and if you put the light on if you went to the toilet through the night it would wake your companion. We couldn’t see a way to turn it off. I would recommend this hotel as for the price it is really good

At first I had read some negative reviews and wanted to assure people who are not sure. Yes this hotel is outdated in design, but it is charming. The hotel is clean and tidy. Our room I found no dirt, maybe if I got on my knees and looked underneath everything but that is unnecessary. The breakfast is fine. Italy isn't known for big breakfast. You come down and are greeted by lovely staff who offer you a fresh hot drink. You can choose from cereals, pastries, some bread/spreads/cheese, fruit, yogurts. They even provided soy milk. It absolutely does the job and if perfect for free. The room is small but comfortable. Nice double bed, air conditioning/heating, large window, good walk in shower, bidet, shampoos and soaps, hairdryer, towels, room can be cleaned daily if you want. Staff very friendly and helpful. 24/7 reception Elevator available Area is quiet, considering the location, next to the station. Didn't encounter any scary people. Mainly tourists getting off and on trains. Well worth the money and I would stay here again.
