“Amazing Family Christmas Break”

We had an amazing time at the hotel and in Rome with our 4 Children (12, 13, 16, 17) from 26/12/2024 - 30/12/2024. The hotel is outside of the centre of Rome, which we knew when we booked, we chose the hotel as it also included evening dinner at a very reasonable price. It's so simple to get into the centre, get on the 913 bus there and back for around 30 minutes, and then be within walking distance of all attractions, restaurants etc. The rooms were very spacious and clean and tidy, with no complaints at all. All of the hotel staff were so friendly and helpful; a special thank you to Diletta in reception, who saved our butts when we forgot to take copies of our passports for the coliseum tour and upon calling the hotel, she quickly WhatsApp'd them to me so that we didn't miss our tour. Myself and youngest son are gluten and dairy-free, and the hotel accommodated this for breakfast and our evening meals. The breakfast had great variety, and the evening meal included in our hotel fee was varied and tasty. The restaurant opens at 7.30pm for evening meals, which worked well for us. A few minutes walk you will find some local stores and restaurants as well.

“Very good hotel”
Very good hotel but tax is very expencive and no iron in room and no airon room. Breakfast is ok, room very clean.

“Only 3 stars……”
It certainly once had a fabulous past, but those days have long gone. This is a pretty tired old big hotel, but, like all things, you get what you pay for. Actually, our room was pretty good. It certainly once had a fabulous past, but those days have long gone. This is a pretty tired old big hotel, but, like all things, you get what you pay for. Actually, our room was pretty good. It was clean and presentable with good a /c. Comfortable bed. The breakfast was very basic and nothing really to look forward to. Yes , the pool is an extra 10 euro per person , but worth it. Bring a cap ! There isn’t really a bar for a drink and we ate away every night . No lunch available. This is not a service hotel, it’s functional. We used a bus to get to Rome which is about a 4 minute walk but always a taxi home as it’s a fair hike after a long hot day. The staff are pleasant enough but all a bit bossy and running to very strict rules ! ONLY one key available to your room which is difficult for 3 people on the 4th floor . I doubt we would stay again, next time we will spend a little more time, to get more .

Stayed here as part of a package tour, so we were unaware of where we were staying, first for one night, then two nights towards the end of our tour. The hotel itself is in a bit of a desolate location, which meant about an hour into Rome and a bit of a walk to McDonalds and cafe. On arrival we were told restaurant was not open, nearest food source meant walking and crossing a couple of very busy roads. The first room we were given was shocking, we hated every minute plus we had to wait hours for our room to become available. However, the last two nights we were given a lovely and comfortable room ( almost like a jekyll and hyde situation) Pool, gym and tennis courts are at an extra cost. We enjoyed the food at the restaurant. Given the location, I would not stay there again. I must mention, in order to arrive at reception, you will need to wheel your bag over a rough stoney path then up at least 12 steps, then more steps inside to get to reception.
