“Close to city gates/wall!”
This hotel was great. We drove there and got the last room for the night. Two rooms and a bathroom with shower. We got a room looking over the valley on the second floor and it was picture perfect!!! This hotel was great. We drove there and got the last room for the night. Two rooms and a bathroom with shower. We got a room looking over the valley on the second floor and it was picture perfect!!! It had just rained and we got a double rainbow included! Spacious room with comfortable beds. The best part was the helpful receptionists! We chose all of their recommendations for drinks and dinner. We loved and are definitely coming back to stay here again.

“Relaxing Friendly Hotel”
We wanted to stay somewhere with some green space and this property fit the bill. Although just outside the inner city walls it was a quick trip to the city center by a convenient bus, or 20 minutes walking. There is also free parking if you are driving. We wanted to stay somewhere with some green space and this property fit the bill. Although just outside the inner city walls it was a quick trip to the city center by a convenient bus, or 20 minutes walking. There is also free parking if you are driving. Our room was spacious with a beautiful view of a nearby valley and hills. We especially appreciated Stefano at the front desk who was always professional and helped us make dinner reservations and gave suggestions on what to see and do. One thing that was off-putting about the property is the scented perfume that permeates all the interior spaces in the property. I have allergies and the first night it really bothered me in our room especially. I requested that they not use the scent in our room the next day and they didn't which was good, but it was still noticeable in hallways and public areas. Also, it should be noted that even though phones are listed as an amenity, you can only call the front desk, it is not possible to make any local calls from the phone in your room.

“Nice place to stay in Siena”
Great location to see Siena. From the courtyard of the hotel there is a spectacular view of the Tuscan hills. The room is large enough and clean. Very good breakfast. Free parking by the hotel.The room, especially the bathroom, would need renovation.

The hotel is just outside the city walls and overlooking a valley. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the city centre. The hotel is just outside the city walls and overlooking a valley. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the city centre. I'm not sure what it used to be, but the rooms are odd....with toilets and showers in separate areas. But it was charming, and the staff were nice. The breakfast was small and typically Italian (cakes). Wifi was poor, and there was no public bar in the hotel.

Not the best, not the worst, just fine. The nice parts include a pretty view, close proximity to downtown Siena, and it has a decent breakfast. Not the best, not the worst, just fine. The nice parts include a pretty view, close proximity to downtown Siena, and it has a decent breakfast. The downsides include lots of noise (the walls are thin), the plumbing is awful (toilet backs up into shower and clogs the shower), and the advertised hot tub is actually paid. It said nowhere on the site that it was paid, we didn't find out till we arrived. This place is pretty stingy, but it worked out okay.
