“Great out-of-the-way hotel”
We were in town for three days and got a room at this hotel. It's everything a small hotel should be. We were in town for three days and got a room at this hotel. It's everything a small hotel should be. It is charming, clean, has attentive staff and a great restaurant, etc. It's a ten minute walk to the main part of town through a small street, but that little walk puts you away from the hustle and bustle of the town (which means quiet). The restaurant serves breakfast and dinner. The food was excellent and plentiful. Note there is no a/c at this hotel so you will be leaving the windows open. This ended up being one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at in our travels. We didn't want to leave.

We stayed in the hotel for three nights, and we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very close to the city center (probably less than 5 minutes walking). The room was good, although a bit small. The toilet looked a bit old, but everything worked nicely. Concerning the restaurant, breakfast was excellent, and dinner was quite good. The wellness center is very nice, we particularly enjoyed the sauna area. The parking was full, so we had to leave the car outside. For us it was not a problem, but I guess it could be for someone. The staff was very friendly. I would definitively suggest this hotel.

“Traditional decoration hotel, Great Spa!”
A little pricey but excellent quiet location, walking distance from lovely town!! Rooms are comfortable with balcony sitting area with gorgeous views. Big bathroom. This hotel has known better days for sure although it is not too bad a choice for a short stay in Brixen. Location is perfect, although there are many other hotels in that same area, so that's not a real point of difference. On the plus side, our room was super big and spacious with a large private balcony. Unfortunately we got very hot one night: no aircon, hard to create a draft from outside and duvets that were way too heavy for the season. Disappointingly, overall decor of the room and bathroom was very much early 90s and would greatly benefit from a refresh. Cleanliness was average - hair on the bathroom floor and a not-so-properly-vacuumed carpet when we arrived... Breakfast was average, nothing exceptional - be warned though, dreadful coffee. The hotel presents itself as a fitness hotel so we thought we would try the spa and other on-site amenities. Little did we know that we would have to pay a 8 euros each to borrow a bathrobe in order to gain access... totally preposterous considering we were already paying 85 euros per person per night for our room... so we decided we would go to town instead... to get a good coffee! On the plus side, a super helpful and very friendly lady greeted us at reception when we arrived and managed to find us a room last minute With a wide choice of hotels available in town, i'd say do a bit more research than we did as you may find somewhere a little bit more up to date in terms of look and charm... the Dominik would not be my first choice if i had to come back, although i would keep it in mind as a good fall-back option.

“Nice last minute find”
Was referred to this hotel by another hotel in town that was booked. There was a festival going on in Brixen/Bressanone and we were lucky to get one of the last rooms. It sufficed but I definitely wouldn't rate this hotel 4 stars as advertised. The rooms were quite large but furniture a bit date… more
Was referred to this hotel by another hotel in town that was booked. There was a festival going on in Brixen/Bressanone and we were lucky to get one of the last rooms. It sufficed but I definitely wouldn't rate this hotel 4 stars as advertised. The rooms were quite large but furniture a bit dated and furnishings plain. That said, it was clean, had decent linens and they accommodated our parking request for our combi car with bike rack in a safe underground garage. The breakfast buffet was plentiful but definitely not up to the quality of what I expect in a 4 star hotel....more 3 star standard. Staff was very pleasant and spoke fine english.
