Fantastic return stay to this hotel. Staff are so friendly and helpful, especially Simone who was amazing. The room was very comfortable and cleaned each day. We had a room on the front and the views were great. The food here is especially good, with a good choice of dishes. The bus stops are very near to the hotel and we found it an excellent base to explore Lake Garda. Will definately be returning again hopefully in the not too distant future.

Special thanks to Simion and the waitress with dark curly hair (didn't get her name), so friendy and helpful. Rooms are pretty basic, but very clean and towels changed/rooms cleaned each day. Only downside was no plug points, only in bathroom and outside bathroom. Brought a travel kettle which was a good idea, as none in room, although we did take a cup of coffee with us after breakfast to the room.Pool fine and good sun beds, Great location with bus stops just outside. Lidl right next door,so good for nippimh in for water etc. Will definately returm!:)

Hotel Angelini We stayed for a week at the end of June. The hotel is situated at the one end of Torbole, on the main road, next door to a Lidl store and in front of a camp site. Access to Torbole centre is a pleasent 10 minute walk taking the waterfront path. As the hotel is at one end of Torbole it also makes it very convenient for walking into Riva. A 20 minute easy walk will get you to the earliest beach location in Riva. To reach the centre of Riva (old town) following a very picturesque path along the coast line will take you 30/35 minutes from the hotel. All in all we found the location brilliant. The hotel itself is three star. It’s a small hotel, small bar and bar seating at entrance (no specific evening entertainment) which leads onto the dining area (around 20 dining tables), which leads onto the pool area. The hotel is more a traditional decor hotel, no bells or whistles but very clean and with a certain charm. The bedroom we stayed was recently renovated so was more modern in its decor with an older traditional bathroom. Our room was on the second floor, which is the top floor for guests. There is a third floor which presumably is the accommodation for the owners. We had a lake front balcony. Great views of the lake beyond the neighbouring campsite. The campsite was very busy yet we never heard any loud noises from the campsite, it too looked very pleasant and peaceful. Our room had good air conditioning and was cleaned on a daily basis. The room has a TV (we found only one English speaking news channel), a safe, plenty of storage space, very comfortable beds (twins pushed together) however no tea/coffee making facilities. This would be the only improvement we could recommend. All in all very impressive room and very clean! The pool was of a decent size with plenty of beds and parasols. We only stayed by the pool for two days and on each day I would say the pool was quiet. Certainly no issues with finding a spot in the sun or shade depending your preference. Our stay was half board so we had breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was self serving, the choice was plentiful. Typically we went for the scrambled eggs and bacon with toast. Cereal with yogurt, fruit, nuts, seeds & fruit conserve plus patisserie’s. Also available were hard boiled eggs, cold meats, cheese, good choice of cakes & flans. Tea (lots of flavour choices), coffee & juices are also self serving. We always treated ourselves to a hearty breakfast, not just because we were on holiday but also to set ourselves up for the day. On your breakfast table you will have a small clipboard asking you to choose your dinner for the evening. All in all we found breakfast excellent. Brilliant choice, fresh and warm. Dinner was table service. You have a choice of three starters and three mains, as mentioned these are chosen earlier at breakfast. Once again we found the choices brilliant. Starters were generally soup, pasta, rice dish etc always with a side salad. Mains were generally a meat dish, fish dish and one vegetable dish. We had swordfish, sea bass twice, salmon, pork, roast chicken. Both starters and main dishes always arrived hot. Portions were not large however bread rolls are available to top up if needed. Desserts were not pre booked or on menu, but verbally offered after your meal. We had Crème Brûlée, Tiramisu, Panna Cotta, Apple Strudel and Ice Cream with fruit and sauces. We often had to choose a dish that would not be a usual choice for us but, in hindsight, that was a blessing. All in all we found the food excellent, very tasty! Professionally cooked traditional Italian food. Compliments to the chef. The staff. Honestly couldn’t praise them enough. From start to finish they were all very attentive, very professional and respectful with a wonderful Italian humour. Special mention to Simone & Marie-Jeanne. Thank you for making our stay so memorable. To sum up our experience we would say the hotel offers excellent value for money on a half board basis. It’s a peaceful environment, small but friendly. We would definitely recommend it and certainly stay again.

I had a very enjoyable one week stay on a Tui one week package, 2nd drop off inbound 2nd to last outbound. Warm welcome and very helpful in getting free garda pass (highly recommended for a few free entries to local attractions). Spotlessly clean and powerful hot shower. Its 1.5 km to Torbole ferry station and 3 km (40 minute purposeful walk) to Riva Garda ferry station / town centre. Torbole itself is really a camping and water sports town so not as many restaurants, bars, shops as nearby Riva. Food i really enjoyed half board , breakfast had set bacon scrambled and hard boiled eggs but continental was deluxe and high quality very varied and always fresh fruit . Dinner was set salad bowl , pasta or risotto and choice of 3 for dinner main course , same desert list daily meringue, Crème Brulé , tiramisu, Pana Cota , etc. Portions a little smaller than back home like a few others picked a bread role to accompany dinner. All very tasty and reasonable drinks prices with 50CL carafe of house wine 8Euro and bottle water 3.20 for a litre. Lidl next door for 4Euro Limoncello! Pleasant swimming pool at the back of hotel, only drawbacks some traffic noise from the road Infront and resort area a little quiet for my taste but a very enjoyable stay and i recommend if your ok with a little walking to get around.
