This is a business hotel. The rooms are small and there are no frills, but everything you need is there, a bathroom, a bed, a TV, slippers and pajamas. It is a couple of minutes walk from Kichijoji station which makes it very convenient. There are shops, restaurants, department stores, even temples and shrines that are all within walking distance. The front desk is able to help with shipping your luggage if you need that service. I had a very small issue when I checked out, but the front desk manager was able to resolve it. I would suggest having exact change for cash transactions. Breakfast was included in my room rate and the restaurant on the first floor provides Japanese and Western options. I stayed there for 3 days and was very happy with the service, convenient location, and the breakfast. I don’t know if I can stay there longer than 3 days, but I would definitely stay there again the next time I go to Tokyo.

So this is a Japanese business hotel and it is very typical for the type. What does that mean? Well, the rooms are small and the bathrooms are small (those little step up capsule type bathrooms). The room isn't really fancy but it is functional. But it is also very clean, like all Japanese hotels, and the location is awesome. Kichijoji is a lively area with lots of shopping and eating. It is close to the Ghibli Museum (15 minute walk or three minute bus ride). Inokashira park is close by with lots of activities. The hotel is more or less across the street from the station. Bus stops are all along the street in front of the hotel that can take you lots of places. Don Quixote...an absolutely fantastic, crazy store, is a block away. The department store Marui is next door. There really isn't any store you want to shop at that isn't within a couple of blocks. The staff were absolutely lovely. The breakfast, if you choose to get it is much cheaper than what the high end hotels charge and every bit as good. My kids love Japanese hotel breakfasts and you should try if you haven't. If you don't want to prepay and have it everyday you can pop in on the days you want for about 1500 yen I believe. We stayed on the 7th floor and there was a coin laundry. That is a great little benefit. Overall a really good option...but remember it is a Japanese hotel...not a western hotel, not a ryokan. Enjoy!

This hotel is about 100 meters from the place where the Haneda airport bus drops you off at the train station. Look for the tan brick building in front of your. When you walk in, be aware there is nothing on the ground floor except a restaurant to the right (which is where you get breakfast). You have to take the elevator to the 4th floor which is where the hotel lobby is. The rooms are small, but by Tokyo standards they are good sized for room at these prices. The bathroom is excellently lit, water power is terrific, and the shampoo, and body wash are real quality products. The room is well lit, with lots of outlets. It was quiet -- great for sleeping. If you have time, this is a great neighborhood; shops, cafes, places to eat abound. Also, about 5 minutes away (turn left as you walk out the door and then left at the 3rd turning) is the famous park. What a lovely green place -- it's hard to believe you are in Tokyo.

The surrounding is having many shopping centres, restaurants, eateries and just a few minutes away from the Inokashira Park. The front desk is on level 4 with many chairs for you to wait or chat. On the same floor is a Bali massage which you can patronize to relax. The restaurant is on ground floor. The room is small but neat & tidy. Even though the hotel is besides the rail station and facing it, the room is very quiet. Don't like the elevator to stop on 4F everytime up or down even though the front desk on 4F.
