“Great hotel in one of Tokyo's best neighborhoods”
The harsh reviews are odd. Yeah the hotel looks a bit "dated" despite recent renovations but the amenties are great, the staff in true Japanese style are helpful and attentive and the rooms are very large by Tokyo standards. Surely many prefer to stay in Ginza and do the touristy stuff but Ebisu/… more
The harsh reviews are odd. Yeah the hotel looks a bit "dated" despite recent renovations but the amenties are great, the staff in true Japanese style are helpful and attentive and the rooms are very large by Tokyo standards. Surely many prefer to stay in Ginza and do the touristy stuff but Ebisu/Shibuya is the best restaurant/nightlife neighborhood in Tokyo and there are a million amazing restaurants and bars within walking distance including in Meguro. Complaints about no public transit are nonsense - its a 5-7 min walk to the JR East Yamanote line and Hibiya line via the Yebisu SkyWalk and there were always a thousand taxis just outside. It took no more than 10 minutes to get to Roppongi or 20 min for business meetings in Maronouchi. Didn't frequent the restaurants (so expensive compared to the thousand great ones a few minutes walk away) but the Escalier bar was quite nice and the cocktails were great (even though you're in a neighborhood with many of Tokyo's best bars like Bar Trench). The Yebisu garden complex was very lively for Christmas so not sure what's happening during other times of year but there are fantastic coffee shops there (Verve) and a fantastic grocery store as well. The Ebisu station also has a million places for food/groceries/pastries/shopping. Highly recommend this hotel for a Tokyo stay.

“Very glad I picked this hotel.”
At first I thought I may have picked the wrong hotel . Arriving at night I felt it may be located too far from everything. I changed my mind the next day . At first I thought I may have picked the wrong hotel . Arriving at night I felt it may be located too far from everything. I changed my mind the next day . The hotel is located in a very peaceful part of the city but within very easy access to all of the city . The metro is within a 5-10 minute nice walk and super easy to find . From there everything is within easy reach and easy to follow. The hotel itself is lovely . Nice rooms , great bar with a wonderful city view, fabulous executive lounge and are lovely Cigar lounge on the lobby level . The gym is not very big and limited . But recommended running routes on Strava gets you out and about for beautiful runs . Taxis seemed to be always available and are located outside the hotel door. Every single staff member was exceptional . A true credit to the hotel and made a good stay great.
