“Kenyan luxury”
Sarova Whitesands resort is luxury. The staff are all friendly and cannot do enough for you. They have five pools open 9-6, tennis courts, a gym and a helipad. The buffets at breakfast and dinner are plentiful however I would suggest to make allergens more obvious so no second guessing. The beach … more
Sarova Whitesands resort is luxury. The staff are all friendly and cannot do enough for you. They have five pools open 9-6, tennis courts, a gym and a helipad. The buffets at breakfast and dinner are plentiful however I would suggest to make allergens more obvious so no second guessing. The beach is not private and very quickly once on the beach you are asked to buy boat trips/guided beach walks/massages etc. The resort has obvious security around the beach area and we did not feel unsafe.

We have just returned home after our first visit to Sarova Whitesands, Mombasa and we are already looking to plan another holiday there as we loved it that much. This is a truly wonderful resort with great facilities, amazing food and drink options, beautiful gardens and beach front, and most importantly professional, friendly and welcoming staff who went the extra mile to make our vacation extra special and enjoyable. We would like to send a special thank you to the staff at the Lido restaurant where we ate lunch most days - with a specific shout out to Rose, Angela, Paulette, head chef Fred and rest of the kitchen staff. We would also like to send a thank you to William and Arnold for their great bar service, to Davis and Justus for their pool service, and to Brian on the entertainment team who we really enjoyed playing table tennis with. Sarova Whitesands is a very special resort and we would highly recommend it.

I had a great experience from the point of check in , was received well by a lady named (Esther) at the front desk, we had a short trip to visit Mombasa ,and were to view and stay 3 different hotels , apon check out Esther advised us on the offer they had,but since we had booked another hotel we had to leave. The hotel we went was not good and since Ester had mentioned the offer we had to come back on the same day, she was of much help apon moving back to the hotel at night, She is really good in marketing the hotel and ensuring that the customers get the best experience with The hotel.

Spent a memorable weekend celebrating my son's birthday at Whitesands. Right from arrival, you are made to feel at home. The staff are all courteous and helpful, the rooms are amazingly clean, bright and aesthetically pleasing. My kids really enjoyed the pool with the slide which during our visit was not overcrowded. We also tried out their seafood restaurant, Lido grill which although a bit breezy, has excellent seafood. All the meals at the main restaurant were also really good and the hotel even surprised my son with a complimentary birthday cake during one dinner. Whitesands is my go to vacay getaway in North Coast. Try it.
