“A place to sleep in Merida”
This is a very nice and modern hotel very close to the centre of Merida, rooms are big, beds are comfortable, there is a nice swimming pool and free parking and good breakfast, staff at the reception is friendly and helpful.

“A nice stay”
I chose Hotel Maria Del Carmen primarily for its location. It was close to the ADO station and pickup points for my excursions, so that made it convenient for me with regards to getting around. This hotel is close to the city center, in quite a good location. There are rooms facing the road and ones facing the pool. There is quite loud sound of machinery in the road facing rooms. This hotel is close to the city center, in quite a good location. There are rooms facing the road and ones facing the pool. There is quite loud sound of machinery in the road facing rooms. The windows do not open. My room was large and comfortable with a big bathroom there was a coffee machine . The room was clean. Breakfast was included in our rate and it was good value for the rate we paid. It could do with some modernizing and perhaps some method of opening the windows or ventilation. The air conditioning worked but was very cold . There is a swimming pool.. it is very convenient for getting into the center of town and the restaurants. There is a laundry very close.
