“As always , The best in Marrakech !!!”
This is the second time my wife and I have stayed with Laurence and her staff. It feels like seeing old friends. Laurence is the best host you could ever imagine. This is the second time my wife and I have stayed with Laurence and her staff. It feels like seeing old friends. Laurence is the best host you could ever imagine. Nothing is too much trouble for her or her amazing staff. The rooms are absolutely beautiful and comfortable, the entire Riad is spotless. Breakfast is delicious and the location perfect. We would like to once again thank Laurence, Said, Soufiane, Asnah, Fatimazahra and Warda for a wonderful stay. We wish our Moroccan family all Merry Christmas and happy holidays. “Missing it already!”

This was our first experience with Morocco or any country from the region and the riad was the place that welcomed us. It’s odd experiencing that kind of so personal service when you aren’t used to anywhere else. Laurence, Said and the rest of the team made sure we had everything we needed. The place is probably the cleanest of any country I’ve been to and even though it is small, it has everything needed to relax. WiFi was probably the only issue due us to being in the terrace but I was probably in the wrong for not requesting and lower floor room in the first place considering you do have to climb up stairs (it is a riad after all). It is nearby most things in the Medina, so perfect location thing (and yet once inside it is perfectly quiet).

I would 100% stay at the Charme d'Orient in Marrakesh again, a traditional riad that is is a great location, just far enough out of the busy areas but a two minute walk and your in the thick of it. The riad is beautifully decorated with rich colors, Moroccan tiles, and plush furnishings, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. The staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating, offering personalized service that makes us feel at home, the service is consistently excellent. We organised a taxi pick up from airport and staff were there to meet us and walk us to the riad. We checked in, had a tour of the property and then they showed us to a lovely local resturant. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was lovely every morning. I also had a traditional hamman and massage which I recommend! Very relaxing and my skin felt great afterwards! The only downside might be the noise from the lively Medina, but this is to be expected in such a central location and after a busy day browsing the souks and local landmarks or going on a tour you will be too tired to notice. The ambiance and hospitality more than make up for any minor inconveniences.

This riad is a beautiful, clean, safe, peaceful, welcoming oasis. The location is extremely walkable to all of the hustle and bustle that Marrakech has to offer. They organized a driver both there and back, even when we were delayed and arrived late, for a very reasonable price. When we arrived we were immediately welcomed with tea. The hosts are absolutely incredible and offer a lot of knowledge. The morning breakfast and massages they offer are wonderful. This riad and the people in it truly stole a piece of our hearts and made our trip memorable.
