All-Inclusive Regulations in the Balearic Islands…
On 23 January 2020, the new Balearic Law against Tourism Excesses entered into force, which prohibits all-inclusive deals with unlimited alcoholic beverages. Only a maximum of three alcoholic beverages per guest will be served during lunch and/or dinner.
We would also like to inform you of the following restrictions included in the law:
Practices which may endanger the life, health and physical integrity of guests are strictly prohibited at hotels, apartments and holiday properties. These practices include climbing from one balcony or window to another and jumping from inappropriate places such as balconies into swimming pools (a practice widely known as ';balconing';). Guests breaking the law will be immediately banished from the property and may be fined, states the law and the corresponding municipal regulations. The hotel/apartment manager or property agent must order said guests to leave immediately, which may require assistance from the security forces.
Failure to comply with the prohibition of practices which may endanger the life, health and physical integrity of guests will be considered a serious offence. In the Balearic Islands, serious offences are subject to a fine between 6,001 and 60,000 euros.

We stayed here for a week over New Year 2018. It is very near Ben Youssef mosque near the souks. It is about 10 minutes walk to the main square. Do be aware that the gates for the souks shut around 9.00pm so if you are making your way back from the main square you need to work out where you are going. The owner and her daughter were very sweet and helpful and attended to all our questions and needs, in this respect it was a little like staying in someones house. The rooms are very small but the bathroom was fine and the rooms were made up everyday and the towels changed. The roof garden is very beautiful with a great view over the roofs and towards the Atlas mountains. A great place to sunbathe. If you want to really get a feel of what the medina is like then this place is excellent - a little oasis amongst all the chaos outside.

My husband and I spent a week here in February 2014 when we were looking for a quiet, friendly place in the heart of the Medina. We wanted to explore Marrakesh but we also needed some rest. It was a marvellous find. The Riad itself is a superbly restored old merchant's house, embellished with Moroccan pictures, furnishings, moosaics and fabrics. We were able to wander around on our own by day, return for a nap when we wanted to, and the unbelievably hospitable, welcoming Enzha who runs it looked after our every need. In fact dear readers, we enjoyed ourselves so much that we decided to bring our children and grandchildren out to the same hotel the following year 2015 to celebrate our Golden Wedding. We wanted to introduce them all to the Arab world, its cooking, atmosphere, people and ambience. We were not disappointed. Enzha rose to the occasion. We hired the entire Road for 4 nights (not impossibly extravagant) there were 13 of us, and Enzha and the charming Miriam looked after us superbly. Enzha met us at the taxi with a bouquet of roses (in february) and cooked something different but still Moroccan for us every night. Breakfasts and dinners were plentiful! Extra teas and coffees were readily produced. I really can't say enough in praise of this Riad or its accommodating staff. Please contact me if you would like to know more.Oh and yes, the family was still speaking to one another on our return to Gatwick!

We booked a 'superior' room, which was spacious, with extremely efficient air-con and a very good shower! All was beautifully airy, spacious and clean, with numerous seating areas. It was my husband's birthday on the Saturday and the lovely host Enza had produced a surprise birthday cake for him. Enza's hospitality and cooking are unparalleled! Enza prepared four evening meals for us during our visit, which included the best couscous l've ever had, as well as Pastilla, lamb tagine and a succulent and delicious, Marrakech speciality 'tangia'! Would stay nowhere else in Marrakech and can heartily recommend!

Woke up to refreshing breakfast prepared by Enza. Would certainly recommend raid Dar Latifa, a wonderful quiet oasis among the hustle and bustle of crazy Marrakech!

My husband and I formed part of a family party visiting Marrakech in February. We had a wonderful time at Dar Latifa. We were on half board basis, which worked extremely well. The food was excellent. Enzha and Miriam made us very welcome. February in Marrakech was not particularly warm but there were good heaters in the bedrooms and a plentiful supply of hot water. A good time was had by all.
