Having stayed at Riad Lauriers Blancs for the entire seven nights of my trip to Marrakesh, I would certainly recommend it. The hosts were friendly, attentive and communicative, whilst allowing you to enjoy your stay in peace. They helped to arrange transfers to and from the airport and were happy to keep luggage safe after checkout, allowing one more stroll through the city. The room itself was spacious enough, with a comfy bed, good toilet and shower, and very effective air conditioning, which was key after a walk around the heat of the medina. It was also kept very clean throughout the stay. The breakfast, available from 8 to 10:30, was varied and provided plenty of sustenance for the day's activities, while the plunge pool offered the chance to cool down in the afternoon and the roof terrace was a good space to unwind either in the sun or under shade. Location-wise, I don't think you could do much better. Just within the walls of the medina, the riad is close enough to walk to all the major attractions of the old city, whilst its distance from the more overbearing parts of the city - think Jemaa el-Fnaa - meant for a more relaxed environment, as much as that word can ever be used to describe the vibrant old city! It was also very easy to access from the airport transfer, which was able to drop off and pick up just a short, simple walk away.

Due to losing our luggage (due to strikes in Casablanca) we arrived about 2:30am and still received a lovely welcome. The next morning the manager helped organise a trip to the airport to collect our bags and helped with translation and transportation. The next week was spent sightseeing the lovely and very busy Merdina and much sun bathing. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff were attentive to our every need. The Riad was absolutely stunning and so well kept. On our departure our host again arranged transfer to the airport in the middle of the night. Loved Marrakech and the local people.

The riad was a little hard to find at first, but then again, if you are u familiar with The Medina, then everything is hard to find. Luckily my guide knew exactly where it was and once we got there, I found my landmarks and it was pretty easy to get to and from. Since it near the Medina wall it wasnt too bad, location wise. The room was clean and nice size. The bathroom was beautiful. And the water pressure (because that's important to me) was great!! They made breakfest daily even when I came out of the room at almost 11:30, so that was nice. The rooftop Terrance was nice and peaceful

Very pleased with our stay. Staff are lovely and helpful. Riad is clean, traditional and charming. Rooms are more than adequate in size for a weeknd stay. Riad is situated at the edge of the Medina. Given how noisy the streets are during the day it is amazing that once you are in the Riad it is completely quiet and tranquil. We took the option of the hotel booking us a taxi from airport to the Riad and very glad we did as it would have been very difficult to find the first time on our own as even the taxi driver struggled. Easy to find it once you know and are there. All feels safe even at night. Breakfast is simple but nice, and plenty for us with orange juice, fruit (2 of the days) and pancakes and bread/jam. We didn't sample their dinners as ate out. They organised a day trip out for us to the Atlas Mountains - having seen some negative reviews of this trip with various travel companies we were nervous but the trip was great (you have to accept a detour to argan oil co-op/pottery shop with any company). We would absolutely come back here again.
