First time visitors to Marrakech, and we were lucky enough to book the Riad Libitibito. From the moment we arrived at the airport where a transfer had been arranged for us, to being escorted back to the taxi for the journey home, we were thoroughly spoilt and well looked after. The Riad is located in the medina, so you can’t drive up to it. We were met at from our transfer by Abdel, who escorted us to the Riad. This is essential, as I’m pretty sure you’d never find it! Be warned, you do end up in what feels like a dark and dismal alley, but when the door to the Riad is opened, it’s like a different world! We had booked the Outkeltoum Suite, which was lovely. The bed was firm, but not uncomfortable, and the shower needed a bit of a clamber in, but was perfectly serviceable with permanently available hot water. Towels were plentiful and replaced daily. There were some toiletries available, although it wasn’t clear what they were (I’m pretty sure I washed in shampoo, but hey ho!), and a small travel hairdryer. There were also bathrobes in the suite and air-con included. We ate there on the first night, and breakfast was included in the price. All the food we had was lovely, and it was a bonus that beer and wine were available, as this isn’t easy to come by. The roof terrace was gorgeous, with a small pool. This might be too cold for some, but I loved it in the Moroccan heat. There was also a small pool in the lounge area, which I understand is heated, but we didn’t use this. The biggest asset to Riad Libitibito, without question, are the wonderful staff. Nothing was too much for any of them (and it’s a small team) and we felt really looked after. Abdel deserves a special mention... we came away feeling like we’d made a friend. He is full of top tips, advice and a great person to have a laugh with! Libitibito, apparently loosely translates to ‘win win’ and we certainly felt like this was the case. I’d highly recommend it, and am already thinking about when we can go back.

I didn't try to dinner there, always went to the big square, but i will try next time. For sure an experience to repeat

Just back from a week at Riad Libitibito. Lovely riad. Nice and clean. The rooftop terrace has seating and sun beds with shade, whilst the small dip pool is lovely for cooling off and gets the sun in the afternoon. The breakfasts were very substantial with great variety. We took advantage of the airport transfer which worked like clockwork and were met and escorted back by the night manager. We also had an evening meal when we arrrived as we were late flying in. The staff were very friendly and helpful and both the managers spoke excellent English and went out of their way to help us and give us information about local traditions and places we might like to visit. The riad is well located and very near to several good restaurants.

We spent three days here, so quiet and relaxing. The staff are very friendly and helpful one of them a young friendly man that does the night shift even went as far as walking us to Nomad restaurant as we were unsure we'd find it. We had the ground floor junior suite which had a very comfortable bed and nice Moroccon decorations, very clean too. Breakfast was lovely a variety of traditional foods to try a delightful way to celebrate our ruby wedding anniversary. Thank you Riad Libitibito.
