“Comfortable room, great location.”
Great hotel, terrific location. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. We spoke to the young lady who was going to service our room, we didn’t need our room to be serviced. Great hotel, terrific location. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. We spoke to the young lady who was going to service our room, we didn’t need our room to be serviced. We just asked for an additional towel. She was very helpful and friendly and lovely to chat to. The off street parking was good, and easy to get into. The location of the hotel is fabulous. Easy walk into the city. And easy access close to the motorway. The rooms are spacious and it is great to have a balcony and be able to open the door for fresh air. We highly recommend this hotel.

“Excellent location albeit a bit shabby”
Rooms are pretty dated and could do with a lick of paint and a good scrub but the location was great (super close to the central city, Albert Park, museum etc.), bed was comfy and room service was quick and friendly. The little balcony with a view out onto Anzac Avenue and a big tree was lovely.

“Tired rooms but a good central location”
This hotel is in a good spot. It's reasonably central. But it's a tired old corporate hotel. Built and designed with weary business men and flight crews in mind. This hotel is in a good spot. It's reasonably central. But it's a tired old corporate hotel. Built and designed with weary business men and flight crews in mind. A place to drop your head at the end of a long day and then depart in the morning when the sun is barely up. I know this because I used to work for this hotel chain. So it's no frills. The room was OK. The bathroom sorely needed an update or just basic repairs (our sink tap leaked and the hot water cylinder that serviced our room had wild temperature fluctuations; I left a note for the staff to pass onto their maintenance guy). And the credenza in the room that stored the minibar fridge had a lot of obvious water damage on its base (like the fridge had leaked). Would I stay here again? Probably. If I needed somewhere affordable and centrally located. But I wouldn't stay here for a romantic weekend or anything.
