Our United flight was cancelled, hence we ended up here (using the voucher provided by United). The hotel is very conveniently located across the international terminal (just cross the street!). The hotel room was modern, and of a decent size, clean, with good bath/bed, and very good acoustic isolation. The latter is really good, we did not hear one plane. Breakfast offers plenty of choices (Buffet style). We also ordered room service (restaurant is ‘only’ open till 10PM. Room service was a challenge: you use the shortcut on the phone, and a voice mentions you have to press the 5 button to receive a callback. Once you get the call back, you hear the ringtone, but no one answers the phone. Maybe I did something wrong, hence tried again. All the same. I went downstairs to the lobby to order the meal. After you order, they tell you there is purified drinking water available (close to the elevator on the same floor as the lobby). They forgot the ketchup and aioli, and there was no bottle opener in the room. For the rest, it was OK.

“Great stop over option”

Hotel located right outside airport so very convenient. Rooms were great and felt modern. Food was great although breakfast was a little slow on refreshing pancakes for my sons liking 😂 We took an uber into Auckland for the day which worked very easily and not too pricey. “Great airport location, acceptable accommodation”

I stayed for 1 night in a king room on the 6th floor before my flight. I was offered a free upgrade at the sister property next door (the Pullman hotel), and I wish I had taken it, as that hotel seemed nicer. This hotel seemed pretty well-worn for the price. I stayed for 1 night in a king room on the 6th floor before my flight. I was offered a free upgrade at the sister property next door (the Pullman hotel), and I wish I had taken it, as that hotel seemed nicer. This hotel seemed pretty well-worn for the price. The room was fairly small--with a clear Scandinavian design style. My bed was comfortable enough, and the shower was very warm, but the room was well-used. The furniture had many nicks and scuffs. Room service was satisfactory. The front desk staff was friendly upon my arrival. Given that I was only in the hotel for less than 12 hours, it was an adequate stay. Can't beat the location a short walk from the airport.
