“Quiet, close to the airport, cheap”
Very good for the price. Quiet, clean and close to the airport. Easy to leave your car while overseas. Free shuttle to the airport every hour on the dog with a friendly driver. Possiblility to come with your dog. Nice area at the back of some room made for your dog.

“Not For Us Ever Again”

We stayed one night earlier this week because we had to get an early morning flight from Auckland Airport. It was a cheap rate that was about right for the basic facilities but we wished we had spent more and stayed elsewhere. We had a very disturbed night due to noisy guests slamming doors, speaking and laughing loudly in the early hours of the morning. One woman conducted a speaker phone conversation right outside our door at 3 a.m. and the building has very thin walls and an echo effect. The room facilities were clean, no complaints there, but the place looks more attractive from the outside than it is as a guest. It is old, shabby and in need of an upgrade on basic bathroom facilities. There is no dining room or breakfast on offer so we had to leave the motel at 5.30 a.m. and drive to the airport for anything to eat or drink. Not a welcoming atmosphere at all. It is just a clean room and bed for a night and if that is all you want, it isn’t too bad. However, with a little thought and some financial outlay it could be so much better. We would not stay there again but there were lots of guests the night we stayed so perhaps we should not be too harsh. NOT for us though.
