“Ups and Downs, needs a kick up the bum.”
We were looking for large room as we had 6 suitcases and 4 bags. This was the only one that advertised the room size, so we booked it. It was large enough, had a nice outlook and was comfortable. We were looking for large room as we had 6 suitcases and 4 bags. This was the only one that advertised the room size, so we booked it. It was large enough, had a nice outlook and was comfortable. It is in a good location and has a nice feel to it. But there were serious issues. Three light bulbs were dead. I complained that it was dark and I wanted them sorted out right away. They couldn't because it was the weekend. The receptionist suggested a discounted parking as compensation. This is pathetic. Why didn't they spot this when they cleaned the room? The next day we were busy and returned at 4pm, the bulbs had not been changed and we had been charged the normal parking rate. I complained again. Yes, it was too late, so they would be fixed the next day. I reminded the receptionist about the parking discount but was ignored. This night was super super cold and we froze. The next day when we returned, the bulbs had been replaced. But I went down and asked about the heating to be sorted out. They couldn't. Apparently, many people complain, they get told to wind up the dial as high as possible. We had already tried it, so they gave us a part broken heater. We kept this for several nights and at least did not freeze again.
