“First impressions of Muscat - Amazing Stay”

Following 23 hours in transit from Chicago via Istanbul with our 4 y/o daughter in tow, we were thrilled to walk into the Intercontinental lobby at 2:30AM. This was our yearly IHG reward night and it did not disappoint. Upgraded to a room with an ocean view, we would not know it until a late wake up, courtesy of a late check-out request too. The clerk working the front desk at 2:30AM, our hero. The limited time we spent in the lobby and getting to our room (I think on 7th floor, extremely exhausted that morning) highlighted simple but elegant touches throughout the common spaces. Our room, a king bed with balcony (upgraded from city view) was one of the most comfortable rooms we have experienced in our travels with our daughter. Spacious, soft linens, a well-appointed desk and space to stretch out following a series of flights, it was everything and more we could have asked for. Large bathroom stocked with amenities and several bottles of water, this was a recent favorite stay. As an IHG property, this ranks amongst our favorites with Coogee Beach (Australia) and we would highly recommend for late arrivals into Muscat. I would 10/10 return here with my family and could easily stay here for 3-4 nights with its excellent proximity to the beach, shopping and restaurants. 20 minute taxi ride from MCT, this was the perfect start to our Oman-UAE trip.

It is always a pleasure staying at Intercontinental Muscat because of it’s location, amenities and staffs. The cleanliness in the rooms and efficiency of staffs are remarkable. Front office, Shankar, makes sure to provide best of the services, whether check in, check out, or any other concerns

“Intercontental Muscat Visit”
An amazing experience , staff very friendly and facilities were great. Used: pool Gym Restaurant Executive lounge All 5 stars I celebrated my Birthday in the week and the staff made it extra special ,Anna in particular was very professional and had excellent skills

Our group arrived at the hotel warmly welcomed. Settle in the room smoothly. We had our lunch at Tomato restaurant, pretty good location, food was apetizing!
