“High Standards Hotel”
Excellent in All areas, I will return. Thanks to Paula, Luiz and Theresa for the Positive Memory, Great Welcome to excellent rooms,Hotel was full in February which shows how popular it is. Decent breakfast and 5 minutes to the metro in a good area of Lisbon

“Comfortable stay in lovely hotel”
We had a 3 night stay at the hotel and loved it. We arrived on an early flight and the helpful reception staff found us a room straight away so we could settle in. The hotel is located about 20 -30 minute walk to many of the main sights in Lisbon but a lovely walk or an easy taxi ride for 4 euros! … more
We had a 3 night stay at the hotel and loved it. We arrived on an early flight and the helpful reception staff found us a room straight away so we could settle in. The hotel is located about 20 -30 minute walk to many of the main sights in Lisbon but a lovely walk or an easy taxi ride for 4 euros! Breakfast was self service but plentiful with pastries, bacon, scrambled eggs, toast and the usual fare. We had dinner in the restaurant which was fab with great service. Some of the translations to English on the menu are random - I ordered the corn fed tuna(!) which was a griddled tuna steak with roasted veg and milho frito (a type of cornbread) - it was amazing . All staff spoke excellent English and were friendly and helpful. Bar food was also great and well priced. Highly recommend the tuk tuk tours which we booked before we arrived and was a lot cheaper than picking one up in the street. Would highly recommend.

Just a few minute stroll from the Pombal metro station and situated on a slight hill in the centre of Lisbon. Great staff who could not have been more welcoming and helpful during our stay. Really smart in their uniforms, which was a nice touch. Room was lovely and clean, bath a bit slippy taking a shower, but we asked for a shower mat which was with us in no time. We only ate at the hotel for breakfast, which was really nice with lots of choice. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lisbon. Thanks again to all the staff, happy new year, David & Jo, UK.

We were recommended this hotel by a relative, who stayed there on business. It is a bit more than a business hotel, though. Our room had the obligatory desk and chair, but also two easy chairs and a table. It was very clean and quite modern. The hotel is adjacent to one entrance to the Marques de Pombal Metro Station. That entrance is closed at weekends, but the next nearest is only 300 metres away. The Station is at an intersection of the yellow and blue lines, with easy access {2 stops} to the red (Airport} line. Getting to the centre is a comfortable downhill stroll. The return journey is fairly easy on foot, with only four stops on the Metro for anyone who feels tired out. Reception Staff are very helpful and well-informed.

Spent a four night break here over Christmas. Front of house staff very attentive, comfortable rooms with nice views across to the main boulevard brilliantly lit and a short walk to the Christmas wonderland experience. Buffet meal on Christmas Eve was extensive something to suit most tastes. Similarily, the Christmas Day buffet lunch also was very tasty particularly the Roast Turkey. Breakfast in the basement function rooms was adequate but could be improved with a wider selection of fresh fruit and other cold dishes. As is often the case in many hotels - coffee from the machines can be an acquired taste. Hotel is centrally placed and various options for bus/metro are nearby to access most of the tourist hotspots.
