“Nice hotel good location”
The location is great. 5 min to metro station. 8 to 10 min to Issacs Cathedral. Hotel is nice and staff nice. Brakfast is better than most. I had a room eith 2 twins and bath. Room had a little fridhe as well. Small little tv. Bed ok.

I stayed here and my friend stayed in another room at the same hotel. I'm a very experienced traveler and I've been to SPB before so I knew what to expect. Most hotels in this style have a difficult to find entrance, with an old unkept stairwell (and a frighteningly small old elevator) but once you enter the hotel door inside, it is actually quite nice. some of the rooms are on different floors and you ahve to go back out into the shared stairwell of the building, but if you dont mind that this is a great place to stay at low cost. The staff are basically what you would expect, they try to help, and even speak a little english, but are not overly friendly. The rooms are clean, we chose rooms with private bathrooms, which are quite nice. The euro-style key check in-out is a bit strange for Americans, but dont worry, this is actually quite normal. one suprise here was the morning breakfast, it was EXCELLENT. A lady comes and cooks fresh eggs and sausage, and there are selections of bread, cereals, fruit, cheese, and drinks, all included!

“Very service minded reception girl!”
One of the girls in the reception was very service minded and friendly. She spoke English very well, and helped us with the information we needed. The hotel had also a perfect location! The room was clean and OK. April 28 - May 2, 2016
