“Nice hotel experience”
Great staff— Glenda and Tes are very approachable! The room is also clean and nice. Nice hotel experience without breaking the bank. Outside the hotel, you’ll already have a lot of restaurants to choose from. It is also very near bus station so it is convenient going somewhere.

We stayed here on two separate occasions during our time in Singapore. For the amount of time we expected to stay in the room, it didn’t warrant paying extortionate hotel prices to be in the more touristy areas. The room was a decent size and although basic and slightly run it had a fridge, toiletries and water provided. We dropped something on the floor and had to move the bed, it clearly hadn’t been swept in many weeks.. when we returned the following week it still hadn’t been swept. Everything else was super clean and for the price we paid we didn’t not expect state of the art facilities. The staff were brilliant and they even stored our luggage for a few days while we flew to KL, this saved us a fortune instead of using the airport storage. There’s so many bars, food courts and restaurants nearby. We ate breakfast at the famous chin mee chin. It’s not ideally located for the MRT if youre coming from the airport and have luggage, we got the green line to Eunos and then ordered a Grab to the hotel it was $6. To access the more tourist parts of Singapore we found it easier to walk down Joo Chiat Road to Marine Parade MRT.

“Very Satisfied Customer”
Everything is excellent. From the manager to the staff , TES/FITRA (HK) up to the smallest thing in the room. The staff and even the manager are very accommodating. Great experienced staying in this hotel! Highly recommended place to stay with.

What’s not to like about a cosy hotel room sitting along the historic stretch of JooChiat Road, where intricately embellished prewar shophouses flank the street. This is to me the friendliest street in all of Singapore, where people know u by your name and affable smiles are the norm. Situated along the heritage trail that is rich in culture and home to a smorgasbord of delectable fare, a palatable meal is only a stone’s throw away. The staff at Hotel 81 Sakura JooChiat are approachable and Wynn, Ibrahim, Tess, Alan, Steven, Davin, Said, Hisham, Ah Wee, (I hope I’ve not left anyone out and if I did, it’s unintentional), Cindy and Faisal from HQ, as well as housemen, Fitra and Ah Wei have taken good care of me. Their friendliness has me feeling much like this place is home away from home. I’ve come to associate Sakura with happy memories and just the sight of its blue-walled facade, white-rimmed windows and stained glass panels bring on a surge of comfort and joy. I am not exaggerating when I say that had I the spare cash, I won’t want to move out. Rooms: 4/5 | Service: 5/5 | Location: 5/5 Safety I’ve always felt safe here even in the wee hours of the morning at 3am or later. It’s a place where people know u by your name and even as a female, I’ve felt safe here. Perhaps sometimes stereotyped as a club district, this place may be home to a few bars and watering holes, but it is very safe here. I very much enjoy the milieu of relaxation here.
