We booked this last minute and managed to get a good deal. Our room was ensuite and had a balcony, which was amazing to be able to sit outside chatting to the early hours. Clean. Air conditioned. Shower and bath. Good location to walk around the town and find some beautiful little restaurants. I've seen from other reviews they mention the restaurant, we didn't eat here but by the looks of it, it was a 3 course meal for €8.50, so I don't think you can complain too much! I would recommend this hotel and stay there again.

“The hotel itself is good value”
Good basic hotel, clean, everything worked, good value for money. There are bad reviews for the restaurant, which is managed separately. Eat somewhere else and your stay will be fine! I have not stayed in this hotel, however, note that most of the reviews here concern the restaurant, not the hotel. They are different establishments. The restuarant is Meson Patio Andaluz. Note also that these poor restaurant reviews are mostly dated from 4 years ago or so. My wife and I visited the restuarant the last 2 nights (we are stayed in the pricey Parador). For 9.5 euros we had delightful mult-course meals which included a decent bottle of wine. All the courses were good and many were excellent. So, the hotel is getting a bad rating because of old restaurant reviews, having nothing to do with the hotel. And the current restaurant is burdened by old restaurant reviews---that don't reflect our current experience. BTW, after a great meal at this restaurant and good wine, we went back to the Parador tonight and had a nightcap glass of wine---which was undrinkable vinegar--and no substitute wine or refund was offered by the Parador. You choose.
