What a joy! Charming host Juan who goes out of his way to help with recommendations be it restaurants or activities and gets you discounts on canoeing. Immaculate hotel, clean, pleasantly decorated with artwork, fridge for guests. Comfortable bed, good shower. Rooms aren’t huge but absolutely fine. Very good generous breakfast. Free parking but a bit of a squeeze. Wild swimming in the river nearby. Wood framed building so you do hear a bit of creaking, some rooms more than others so mention to Juan in advance. Not open over winter. Nearby Cangas with it’s Roman bridge is lovely. The Picos of course, but the coast has little towns and hidden beaches. Asturias is a delight we have already booked our ferry next year. Highly recommended on so many levels.

This hotel is run by a lovely young couple who work very hard to make their guests stay welcoming and relaxing. There is free, adequate, onsite parking. It is located in a very quiet area with a view of the mountain. The rooms are upstairs (no lift), but assistance with luggage is offered. There is more than one sitting area for guests to relax. Since we booked late, our room was at the very top of the building, small, but comfortable and provided everything we needed. Breakfast was very nice and served either indoors or out (your preference). There are restaurants not far from the hotel, but don't believe there are any within walking distance. You will definitely need a car to reach this location as it is not right in town. This is not far from Pico de Europa Parque. We would have loved to stay longer. The hosts have limited English but do their best to assist with information and if you make a little effort, communication is not a problem. We enjoyed our stay and would choose this location again.
