My wife and I had an incredible experience at 7 Islas Hotel. The property is beautifully designed, with an artsy and contemporary atmosphere that offers a unique, inviting art gallery-like vibe. The hotel is ideally located, just a short walk from Gran Via, yet tucked away in really nice neighborhood that offers a welcome escape from the crowds. While there's a bar across the street, the area remains quiet, safe, and pleasant. Our room was spacious, spotless, and extremely comfortable, with a bed that provided an excellent night's sleep. The bathroom was generously sized and equipped with high-end amenities, including Malin + Goetz shampoos, body wash, and lotion. The modern decor throughout the hotel added to the overall stylish and chic ambiance. The staff at 7 Islas Hotel were exceptional—friendly, welcoming, and always eager to assist. Their excellent customer service made our stay even more enjoyable. We will absolutely return to 7 Islas Hotel on our next trip to Madrid and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect balance of comfort, style, and convenience.

I wanted to love this hotel and I certainly did love some aspects during our three night stay in Madrid. It is very well-situated, in a cool neighbourhood, very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. It is close to everything we wanted to see during our short stay in Madrid. It was very quiet and the staff were fabulous and very helpful. We liked the art concept throughout although the exhibit during our stay was not really interesting or appealing to us. Prior to our visit I was looking forward to the great cocktails that I had read about in a magazine listing the top hotels. The bar area was so quiet! We never saw anyone there. There was no menu listing the great cocktails to order. We sat down and we’re given the choice of wine or beer. Perhaps we should have requested a list of cocktails to choose from? I would have expected a bit more advertisement about the fabulous cocktails I was hoping to discover! Overall though a nice stay.

“You won’t find friendly staff here….it was just okay”

Nice hotel in a desirable part of the city but the staff are so dull and boring. I like it when staff says hello when I come in and good bye when I leave. Nice hotel in a desirable part of the city but the staff are so dull and boring. I like it when staff says hello when I come in and good bye when I leave. You won’t find this here at 7 Islas Hotel in Madrid. Every time you pass the desk they are head down beating on their computer keypad. I can’t beleive they had all that much work to do but maybe I am wrong. Breakfast was simply ok, and I am judging that off the other 7 hotels we stayed at in Portugal and Spain this trip….ask i became kind of a breakfast snob. AP Eva Senses in Faro, Portugal had the absolute best just in case you were wondering. Anyways, I think there are plenty other well placed hotels you can choose from.

I am not sure why this hotel has good reviews. We stayed here 2 nights for my partners birthday. When I booked it online I asked for a room with the view, if available. Couple days before our arrival the hotel email me that our room doesn’t have a view (it’s courtyard facing) but they can upgrade … more

I am not sure why this hotel has good reviews. We stayed here 2 nights for my partners birthday. When I booked it online I asked for a room with the view, if available. Couple days before our arrival the hotel email me that our room doesn’t have a view (it’s courtyard facing) but they can upgrade us for additional charge. I responded “sure, please go ahead and upgrade us, it’s one of us birthday, we will treat ourselves”. They responded that that the more expensive room is not available anymore so we will be staying in the originally booked room. Which was fine, but during our check in I asked if they had any cancellations and that room was available after all. Unfriendly check in lady just said “no”. We have been visiting Spain for my partner’s birthday for several years. Every single hotel in the past has offered us something nice - a room upgrade, a welcome drink, something sweet or a bottle of cava. Not this one. The Hotel itself is nicely designed and clean. But staff is cold and unfriendly, there is no water or coffee in the room, barely any amenities. Our room was very basic and the bed was small and uncomfortable. Breakfast was good though chaotic.
