All-Inclusive Regulations in the Balearic Islands…
On 23 January 2020, the new Balearic Law against Tourism Excesses entered into force, which prohibits all-inclusive deals with unlimited alcoholic beverages. Only a maximum of three alcoholic beverages per guest will be served during lunch and/or dinner.
We would also like to inform you of the following restrictions included in the law:
Practices which may endanger the life, health and physical integrity of guests are strictly prohibited at hotels, apartments and holiday properties. These practices include climbing from one balcony or window to another and jumping from inappropriate places such as balconies into swimming pools (a practice widely known as ';balconing';). Guests breaking the law will be immediately banished from the property and may be fined, states the law and the corresponding municipal regulations. The hotel/apartment manager or property agent must order said guests to leave immediately, which may require assistance from the security forces.
Failure to comply with the prohibition of practices which may endanger the life, health and physical integrity of guests will be considered a serious offence. In the Balearic Islands, serious offences are subject to a fine between 6,001 and 60,000 euros.

He checks us in, tells us to come back, does not recognize us from the hour prior; we wait a few minutes, though there are no other customers (huh?) and he finally checks us in, again. The room was nice, it overlooked the cathedral, had a small fridge, comfy bed. The bathroom was large and modern. As a north American I am not used to a European shower-I soaked the floor. Our room was quiet but warm. The breakfast was great. The location was fantastic. All in all it was a great stay.

We stayed for three nights in late February. The location was great - right between the end of the main street and the main walkway to the port area. Everything was within walking distance, including the bus stop for the bus to the airport train. This was the best thing about the hotel and made it easy to return for a short break during the day. Reception was polite at check-in but barely acknowledged us thereafter, although this did not really bother us. The room was clean but rather disappointing compared to the pictures on the website (and here), see picture. It was one of the smallest on the floor, according to the floorplan, and overlooked a small central well lined with pipes so no view of anything at all, but that did mean there was no street noise. The picture of the view of the sea must be taken from the roof or top floor as the hotel is very much in the centre of other buildings. As stated, the room was very small. There was plenty of hanging space but not much other space to put anything else, just five very small drawers, a small desk and two tiny ledges that served insted of bedside tables - barely big enough to hold a book and a phone. It did not have room for the easy chair and small table shown in photos of the double rooms. The bathroom, however, was quite spacious with a good shower. The room was very stuffy when we first entered so we always had the windows open. This, however, did give rise to a smell of drains occasionally. The aircon is centrally controlled (not in the room) and was switched off for winter so the windows were the only way to cool the room down. We had to close the windows at night so slept without the duvet. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was pretty good with a selection of bread, pastries, fruit, yoghurt, ham, cheese, cereal etc. There was a small amount of hot food but unless it was fresh, the eggs were not particularly hot and the bacon was, as is usual in Europe, undercooked. However, there was plenty to get us going for the day.

“Location”
The location of the hotel is excellent for exploring what there is to see in Malaga. The reception was helpful - but overall the hotel does not exude a warm feeling. Getting up to and then down from the reception to street level is cumbersome for someone like me walking with a stick.

We stayed here for 2 nights mostly to come and see the Xmas lights and markets , and the hotel was just around the corner from these , hence why we booked . It's a 3 star hotel , we where on the 8th floor , top level , had a balcony which over looked the street , room was spacious , large walk in shower , basic room , no kettle but had small fridge with few water bottles in free. You can hear the neighbouring guests in there rooms as walls where thin so can be noisy at night .. Breakfast was like a cafeteria , only hot choice was 3 little containers with bacon, mini sausages , and scrambled egg . The rest was more continental choice was ok for a 3 star hotel . Did get quite busy in the morning around 9-10am each day and peolpe did have to wait around for tables to be cleaned and cleared for few minutes as there is t enough space for everyone . Only few mins walk to the bus stop to airport line A and about 15 mins to the train station walking . We would stay again for the location only for a couple of nights .
