“Pamplona three night stay .”

“Perfect stopover”
We love this hotel. Our dogs get a 5* welcome as do we. Spacious clean rooms, secure parking, friendly helpful staff and lovely food. Close to major roads so perfect for a stopover en route north or south.

I'm afraid to post this review because if folks going to Pamplona all stay at the Hotel Villava, I could be out of luck the next time I'm at the Festival of San Fermin! This is a wonderful hotel; friendly staff, huge and nicely-appointed room, fantastic breakfasts, good food available at the bar restaurant, and even a small workout room available. It's about a 20-minute bus ride into town. We didn't want to get a super-expensive small room in town with a lot of noise, so I booked the Villava. Bottom line... if you want to be in the center of the party action during the Running of the Bulls, the Villava isn't for you, but if you want a really nice quiet hotel a bit further from the action, stay here!

This stay was a mixed experience for us. We spent two nights here and used garage, breakfast room and had dinner both nights. The breakfast was fine. The staff on reception very good. This stay was a mixed experience for us. We spent two nights here and used garage, breakfast room and had dinner both nights. The breakfast was fine. The staff on reception very good. We had the set dinner and found the service a little unrefined. A Tv was in the dining room where the seemingly owners an elderly couple sat down directly in front of TV to watch a football match and have their dinner. Other guests apperared to fine this unusual and yet quaint. The food quality was okay. Our room had an electronic lock that infact did not lock but you could open without our key. We reported to reception and host showed us how to lock dispite the fault. We tried and tested it worked. The next day we discovered the cleaners had cleaned the room they obviously did not know how to lock it and the door was open. A little disapointing with our items inside. the garage was large and 10 euros for the evening. There was a very mixed range of guests in the dining room, some called in passing. Location from the city a reasonable long walk a bus did stop 500mtrs or so from Hotel.
