“Great location and price”
Great location! Great service, the rooms are very clean, buffet breakfast great value for money! The walls are a bit thin so if people are having a party one can hear everything.... It's a pity that the staff don't speak or understand English.

This hotel has a lot of good things. One of the best things is its location close to the city center. It’s just a few minutes walk to the beautiful Plaza Mayor. There are also a lot of bars, restaurants and shops in its close proximity. In front of the hotel is an underground parking. The hotel staff is friendly and benevolent. Rooms are being cleaned well daily by also very friendly ladies. The hotel serves a nice breakfast buffet for only 5 euro. Breakfast contains the following: bread, croissants, meats, cheese, butter, jam, warm and cold drinks, fruits, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages. Breakfast is being served between 08:00 and 10:30 o’clock. The hotel offers free WiFi and has an elevator for a maximum of 4 persons. Due to the size of the hotel I can imagine that in busy times this could be a bit too little. During our stay it wasn’t busy so we had no problems. The beds are good, I did not hear anyone complain. We stayed there with a group of eight people. The rooms at the front of the hotel have great views on the city, among others on the beautiful illuminated cathedral and university. All this for an excellent price / quality ratio. Myself stayed in room 601, a single room on the top floor in the corner. The WiFi signal wasn’t strong enough in this room and it also took a very long time before the water became warm. When this finally happened the shower was okay but small. The views on the city from this room were worth the waiting for hot water.

The best thing about this faded 60s hotel is its location just a short stroll from the stunning Plaza Mayor. The room was clean and simple (basic even). We had a lovely view out over the city rooftops. The gentleman on reception when we arrived was the least communicative receptionist I’ve ever come across. Not friendly and didn’t even give us the basic info. The gentleman on reception when we were leaving was much more accommodating. We felt it was expensive for what it was. Bring earplugs! Although the windows are double glazed the walls are thin. Lousy WiFi. We spent one night here and then moved on to a nicer option in town.
