“Outstanding menu a little off the touristy path.”
Ate at the restaurant and it was fantastic. Great music, wonderful atmosphere spectacular service. Real Italian bread with extra virgin olive oil from Tuscany started us off. Ate at the restaurant and it was fantastic. Great music, wonderful atmosphere spectacular service. Real Italian bread with extra virgin olive oil from Tuscany started us off. We split the goat cheese salad that was out of this world good. I got the Angus beef burger and it was cooked to perfection and with Raclette chess had a Swiss take. Served with fries- too many I could not finish. My wife had the salmon locally caught and she loved it. I finished off with some ice cream that tasted locally made. We ate at a bunch of Italian restaurants during this Swiss trip and this was not one of them but I really loved the opportunity to eat something different. So highly recommend.

“Wonderful Stay at Hotel Perren”
We stayed at the Hotel Perren for three nights (6/28-6/30) and had an absolutely wonderful stay. We stayed at the Hotel Perren for three nights (6/28-6/30) and had an absolutely wonderful stay. After discovering late in the evening of our planned arrival that all trains from Visp were cancelled due to the flooding, we called the hotel and were so grateful for their very timely guidance in reaching Zermatt through the SBB bus and subsequent train. Within a short time we were in Zermatt. Upon our arrival, the genuine warmth and personable friendliness of the front staff was so appreciated. We were totally delighted the following morning, when upon opening the blinds from our room, Matterhorn stood beaming at us in great brilliant beauty! Our entire stay was wonderful and we look forward to returning to Hotel Perren in the future.
