“Walk like a Queen”
Nice, hotel feels like a palace, the pillows are comfy, mattress is superbly... I felt good with the service. Dinner was taste, breakfast included everything that you could imagine. The swimming pool is in good side and super clean. The towels were of high quality

The Southern Sun Dar es Salaam is reopening and it is a good thing for Dar es Salaam! The place is spotless, well refurbished and just the right size! We had a great buffet dinner with fresh and tasty food, a good night sleep in a classy room, with fresh bedding. The staff was helpful, smiling and welcoming. The location is really great: In town yet away from the hustle and in nature, surrounded by trees.

This is a lovely, well located hotel in Dar Es Salaam close to the main port, the harbour for Zanzibar ferries. This is a lovely, well located hotel in Dar Es Salaam close to the main port, the harbour for Zanzibar ferries. Most rooms have views of the green golf course and Botanical Gardens and the ocean beyond. It is a large hotel, but feels intimate and cosy with a very peaceful garden and pool. It is located close to many Embassies and perfect for a business traveler. Breakfast and dinner were both excellent and fresh and good quality coffee was served. In my room I was delighted to receive a welcoming letter from the Manager. Incredibly comfortable beds and fluffy white towels. This is far nicer than the other hotels I’ve stayed in in Dar Es Salaam.

First-rate hotel. Excellent staff. Southern/Tsogo Sun is HIGHLY recommended by me - and I am not easy to please! I was welcomed well and had all my needs attended to, during my stay. First-rate hotel. Excellent staff. Southern/Tsogo Sun is HIGHLY recommended by me - and I am not easy to please! I was welcomed well and had all my needs attended to, during my stay. The only thing I can criticise is that room service brought the wrong order once. But it was easy to overlook, because the 'mistake' was a tasty dinner, nonetheless - LOL! I must thank Judith specifically - she did a very good job of arranging my trip to Zanzibar. Top lady!

“Calm Place”
The rooms are good. The property maintenance is excellent. located in the city center. easy access to other places. Been in with family food is ok. But expensive . not affordable for Tanzanians. Management must consider for Tanzanians too. But rest all good
