Wow, what a super resort! We had a fantastic holiday in Sultan Sands and we really enjoyed every minute of our stay. Everything was well arranged. We had a beautiful room, which was in an African house style in the middle of a very nice green botanical garden. The room was very comfortabel and clean. Cleaning was twice a day, we very much appreciate it. The restaurant was perfect! Every day a different variation of the menu. And it all was very tastefull. The staff is so incredable kind and helpfull. They smile the whole day and all of them are very energetic. 10 plus for the Sultan Sands crew members! Special thanks to Kevin. He is super for his guests, but also for the team. He explains a lot about the hotel. It is very future proof when it comes to environment, but also for the crew. They have a pick-up service around the island for all staff members to come to work, they provide meals to the crew and also sleeping places. We love to hear it, because the crew works very hard. Thanks a lot Kevin and crew, we really enjoyed our stay with you!

What an exceptional hotel, location, staff and experience Set on the Indian Ocean, with safety, luxury and hospitality- I relaxed the moment I arrived The staff were so friendly and helpful and we were made to feel at home immediately The lodge was on the beach and I saw sunrise everyday - I swam in the ocean and did aerobics in the pool The live music was wonderful and the spa treatments fabulous I recommend this hotel resort and the wonderful management and staff - fully recommended

“Wonderful holidays in paradise”
We had an amazing one week stay in Sultan Sands. Everything was wonderful, the sea, the beach, the people. Walking in tropical gardens was something like an escape to the paradise. The food was tasty and we could choose from different kinds. The staff was helpful and friendly.

After arriving at the hotel from the airport, the first person who saw me during check-in was Berta from the hotel reception. This meeting was the most memorable for me! The meeting with Berta again was very nice and full of emotions. Berta remembered my face from the previous year and welcomed me very nicely. Berta is always smiling, cordial and helpful. I would like to extend my warmest regards to all the hotel employees, especially Berta, with whom I was very moved to meet her again. Asante sana my dear Berta for your professionalism and beautifull smiling for all tourists!!!! Sultan Sands Island Resort is located right next to a phenomenal beach with soft, white sand and turquoise ocean. The hotel is located on the eastern coast of Zanzibar, in the Kiwengwa area, adjacent to the Bluebay Beach Resort & Spa. The hotel is located directly on the beach, with free umbrellas, sun loungers, mattresses and towels. Here you can observe the amazing phenomenon of large ocean tides. I recommend this place primarily to people looking for beautiful views and those who like sunbathing and active recreation. There are swimming pools, a paddling pool for children, and a volleyball court in the sister facility. One part of the hotel is intended only for adults. The hotel offers very tasty and varied meals as part of All Inclusive. Also worth mentioning is the very helpful and friendly hotel staff, from the cleaning ladies, to waiters, reception staff, cooks, animators and gardeners. Each of them is always smiling and friendly.

We’re one week in to our stay at sultan sands Zanzibar and it’s been fantastic from checking in to be found we had been upgraded to beech front villas at no charge the staff have been great from Kevin and I’ve just met Mike today the Managers to Jordan Joma Rose Happy and so many more and our delightful cleaner who I can’t spell her name but she is unbelievable . Food has been very good with plenty of of variety and entertainment on till 11 at night with different things every night. You do run the gauntlet going to the beach but they at are all friendly and if you say no they won’t keep pestering you . Zanzibar is a wonderful and beautiful place well worth the visit . Kevin is one of the loveliest people you could meet he will go past any expectations you have as a hotel manager he and his staff will all look after you on your dream holiday
