“Lovely, relaxing spot in Bangkok”

“Gem of a hotel”
This is a gem and well worthwhile staying. For its location it is remarkable quiet. There is a bit of noise from the canal which backs on to the hotel, but only between about 8.00am and 5.0ppm and even then infrequently. This is a gem and well worthwhile staying. For its location it is remarkable quiet. There is a bit of noise from the canal which backs on to the hotel, but only between about 8.00am and 5.0ppm and even then infrequently. Our room was a bit dark, it was on the ground floor but comfortable and spacious. The staff are excellent and only too happy to help. Breakfast was superb. Yes it is a bit of a way to the centre of Bangkok, but a short distance from the sky train. It is a wonderful boutique hotel and well worth staying there.

Lovely hotel. Great staff, great food. The restaurant is beautiful. I stayed for 2 nights. Couple of things, which I only mention because they're easily fixable, if fixing is what is wanted: The restaurant is a lovely venue. But the front bit, where the counter is, is very cluttered, and it detracts from the overall aesthetic. And secondly, similar theme, in the public areas, there are quite a few places where you see things like white plastic children's high chairs, boxes, coloured plastic, poking out from behind the stairwells and in corners. It definitely detracts from the vibe. I did not get the sense that space was that much of a premium, so I would definitely be tucking these things away out of sight. I wish this hotel well though, and have already recommended it to some people.

If you are looking for some classic old world colonial vibes in the bustling city topped with some authentic Thai food... look no further!!! We were a family of 3 and stayed in one of the suites in July. The property is at the end of the Soi and has the waterway as a boundary to the property with the boats traveling during the day (wasn't a bother but a rather unique experience!) The charm about the place is the way the property has tried to retain the original vibe. As per the staff this used to be residential bungalow and a new wing was added. The living quarters of the erstwhile place is now a library & cosy corner and has a nice vibe to catch up on some reading or just to soak in the ambience. The restaurant & food is top notch!! Kudos to the management for going to great lengths to maintain the native Thai origins in all the dishes. Each table setting is a microsom of the ambience the place has to offer. The table by the huge windows in the shadows of the foliage is the perfect location for breakfast & to start your day. The coffee is refreshing and something we enjoyed thru out our stay. The rooms are well appointed with plush sofas & majestic 4 poster bed. Loved the old school feel bathrooms with the ceramic tiles mosaic & porcelain knick knacks adding to the feel. The wooden shutters & doors complete the jungle lodge like experience. The property is small with limited rooms so if you plan to stay recommend booking it early. The staff is super helpful & courteous !! Overall a great experience and would love to re visit!!

Beautiful lush hotel. Very peaceful & quiet, perfect for relaxing after a busy day in Bangkok. Super friendly and helpful staff and very comfortable bed. Another plus is the lovely breakfast with local fruits and really good coffee. The only downside of me was the location as I found it a bit far from the main attractions - nothing too bad - but a little more extra travel time was needed. Overall, really nice stay!
