Jungle Rafts River Kwai is a one-of-a-kind experience that perfectly blends nature and adventure! The floating hotel concept is incredible — the rafts are anchored right on the River Kwai, surrounded by dense jungle, creating a completely immersive escape from the modern world. There’s no electricity, but that’s part of the charm. At night, the lanterns light up the area, making it feel magical and serene. Our room was simple but comfortable, with a beautiful view of the river right outside our door. Falling asleep to the sounds of the water gently flowing was so peaceful. We loved the unique floating deck, where we could dip our feet in the river or take a swim directly from our doorstep! The staff was incredibly warm and attentive. They were always happy to help and made sure we were comfortable during our stay. The food was delicious, with a great mix of Thai dishes. The nearby Mon village and cultural performances were a wonderful touch, offering a glimpse into the local way of life. Jungle Rafts is perfect for anyone looking for an eco-friendly retreat that’s truly off the grid. It’s a refreshing break from modern conveniences and a deep connection to nature. Highly recommend for adventurers and nature lovers!

Had one night at the rafts whilst visiting Kanchanburi and loved our stay. We had two double rooms for our family of 4 and found them to be as described. Mosquito nets and reasonably comfortable beds with a little bathroom at the back. Loved the hammocks and seating outside. It was quite dark in the rooms even during the day though but they had everything we needed. It was obviously quite hot at night without aircon/fans but we knew that was part of the experience. The staff were very helpful and we enjoyed watching the Mon dance in the evening as well as exploring the Mon village and meeting their elephant, Mondi (?), who joined us all at breakfast time. Lovely feeding him the left over fruits. The evening meal was tasty and lovely to sit right by the river. However, during breakfast, we were absolutely plagued by wasps who were literally everywhere. It was very unpleasant and in the end, we just grabbed some breads and went back to our room as it was impossible to eat with so many wasps. Not sure if this was a one off or a regular occurrence so be prepared! However, all in all, a fabulous stay and we loved the remoteness and the stars at night. The journey by boat each way was also super exciting so definitely recommend here for a slightly different experience.

A wonderful experience for all. We had a fantastic overnight stay here, arrived by long tail boat and it was amazing. We were greeted by friendly staff & our rooms were ready. Such a tranquil place for rest & relaxation. The atmosphere in the evening was made perfect with paraffin lamps and the food was delicious. We watched a short show by local dancers after dinner. In the morning we got to feed an elephant breakfast. All in all a fabulous stay and I thoroughly recommend a visit.

The good stuff...... as idealic as it sounds, comfy beds, mozzy nets, basic but functioning bathrooms, a unique way to stay, you can hear the jungle at night, the food is great for dinner and the staff are lovely. A kind man even brought me ice late one night when I foolishly slipped down the small stair to the bathroom. The bad stuff.....our first night was shared with a large group of students and their teachers. The teachers watched their football loudly on an ipad til late and then left all the teens drinking cocktails, and running up and down between the "charging hut" til passed midnight. Not what anyone else came for. If you're lucky with the others booking with you, you'll have a great time
