“Review”
We stayed here for a night and we loved it. The conditions were perfect. Super confortable bed, warm. The staff is amazing. Very welcoming and kind. There's parking space outside. But during the week is pais. The location is really great. Decent breakfast.

service aplenty. Cleanliness, kindness, and should be more than 3 star imo. Breakfast was well spread, room was a cheaper one but comfortable and very acceptable for travellers. service aplenty. Cleanliness, kindness, and should be more than 3 star imo. Breakfast was well spread, room was a cheaper one but comfortable and very acceptable for travellers. Reception was brilliant and staff went out of their way to help. Only let down is no lift so you need to book for rooms that are on the same floor as reception if you have heavy bags. Breakfast room is downstairs so bring your walking legs. Within walking distance to the railway and plenty of food places along the street.

“Disappointing response to a problem”
Our stay at Cairn Hotel Edinburgh was spoiled by an item going missing from our room. I wore my pyjamas on Friday night but when we got back to our room after being out all day on Saturday the bottoms were missing. I spoke to reception about it when we checked out and followed up with a phone call … more
Our stay at Cairn Hotel Edinburgh was spoiled by an item going missing from our room. I wore my pyjamas on Friday night but when we got back to our room after being out all day on Saturday the bottoms were missing. I spoke to reception about it when we checked out and followed up with a phone call the next day but they couldn't find them and offered no compensation. A disappointing end to an otherwise comfortable stay.
