“When staying in Central London my wife like to stay at One Aldwych”
My wife and I are Londoners so we know London very well. One Aldwych is always warm and welcoming. It is our happy place. You can walk from the hotel to the West End theatres. The hotel's pre theatre dinner is very good. Book a table for 5 pm and you will have time to eat and stroll through London… more
My wife and I are Londoners so we know London very well. One Aldwych is always warm and welcoming. It is our happy place. You can walk from the hotel to the West End theatres. The hotel's pre theatre dinner is very good. Book a table for 5 pm and you will have time to eat and stroll through London's West End to the theatre. After the theatre finish off the evening with drink in the hotel's 'Lobby Bar'. My wife and I think it is one of the best bars in London.

A delightful visit over New Years. Even before we arrived, the staff emailed about our needs and offered that --arriving on an overnight flight from the US-- we could freshen up in the fitness center. But then we were able to check in that morning --very much appreciated. Front desk, housekeeping, more --the staff were all gracious and accommodating. Little things, like that the mini bar items were complimentary. And the indoor pool was a great perk --a treat to be able to swim in London in December! Overall, One Aldwych is the right size and in a super location.

The rooms are modern, beautifully designed, and filled with thoughtful touches that make you feel right at home. Dining at Indigo is a highlight. The entire menu is gluten- and dairy-free, yet every dish is bursting with flavor and presented with care. The Lobby Bar is equally impressive, offering expertly crafted cocktails in a vibrant yet relaxed atmosphere. The wellness facilities are incredible, particularly the pool with underwater music—a unique and relaxing experience. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Covent Garden, with theaters, shops, and landmarks just a short walk away. This is the most incredible hote I have ever stayed in. My husband and I came to celebrate our anniversairy and our 4 year old daughter, Chloe, tagged along as usual. We were greeted by your lovely concierge Cecelia, who showed us to our rooms and went the extra mile to make sure we had all the necessary information. The room itself was spectacular! Incredily beautiful and luxurious. We even had a celebratory cake on our table. The spa facilities were excellent and dinner in the bar was superb. Our waitresses were amazing, friendly and attentive, particularly Julia. Chloe had a brilliant time with all the provided colouring supplies. Not to mention the food was delicious at dinner and breakfast. Thank you so much to all of the staff, we will definitely return :)

The concierge team did an excellent job of lining up restaurant reservations from Michelin 2-star to gastropubs. The hotel accommodations are excellent. The concierge team did an excellent job of lining up restaurant reservations from Michelin 2-star to gastropubs. The hotel accommodations are excellent. A wonderful bar with a menu of specialty, holiday drinks. We enjoyed the Charlie and Chocolate Factory tea despite being the oldest guests. Christmas Day lunch was also outstanding, better than the prix fixe menus at some other top-end restaurants. The location, at the south edge of Covent Gardens, is not that close to tube stations, but cabs are always available. For us, this was a “Mayfair experience” at a much better price.
