If you are seeking a basic room to sleep in at night and don't plan to spend your vacation time in a hotel room, this is a good choice. This hotel is not promoted or priced as luxurious lodging and one should not expect more than what is provided. The rooms are small (which is fully disclosed up front) and there are no hotel amenities. It is an older location and the mattress was not new. It is very close to the Paddington tube location (perhaps a 5 minute walk) and there are many restaurants and retail within walking distance. The breakfast is only offered from 7 to 9, so if you have an early departure you may not be able to take it in. The breakfast was very adequate--you are served a plate of bacon, beans, and eggs and a large basket of toast is provided along with coffee and juice. I was disappointed that the wifi doesn't reach the hotel rooms and is only available in the lobby. Wifi was promoted as included but did not meet expectations.

“Not recommended”

Too cramped, very hot and very noisy. Good location, very convenient and o the Underground. Relatively inexpensive and easily hooked, but no appeal whatsoever. Recommended only for families on a bare or skeletal travel budget. Stay instead in a hostel.
