“Good service by good people”
I’ll be the first to admit I can be a grumpy old man at times and as such have been guilty of bemoaning this wonderful establishment. I’ll be the first to admit I can be a grumpy old man at times and as such have been guilty of bemoaning this wonderful establishment. You’ll never please everyone, and even more so when running a pub, a hotel and a place where a mixed crowd gathers, all with different needs and wants, and furthermore catering for a local and far further afield audience. Anyway, credit where credit is due. A great team, delivering great service, run superbly and working as one. Congratulations all from a locals perspective.

“WHAT a find - we are looking for an excuse to return”

What a fantastic place! We were planing to stop at a local chain hotels but they notified us that the heating had failed. Last minute look around found the Drayton Court Hotel and what a find. From the moment we first contacted everything was fantastic. Yolanda answered the phone and immediately gave a great impression. We discussed our needs and had such confidence that we would be looked after well we booked. As it was my Wife's special birthday we booked a junior suite and Yolanda select one that turned out to be perfect. Some reviews on some sites say that this place is a little tired but they have refurbished recently and it is now of a high standard. The suite was a good size with a wonderfully large bathroom with a large shower and a BIG bath. ALL of the staff were friendly and helpful, which is a rarity anywhere these days nevermind in London (where we have had a lot of less than mediocre service). People report that the breakfast is good... It is. The fact that we had free parking, a great bed and breakfast deal, a brilliant room, two complimentary drinks, good tea and coffee in the room (with a mini fridge), one of the nicest rooms we have had in years and wonderful staff all for LESS than the P Inn we were planning to use still amazes me. Thank Yolanda and the Team - we WILL be back to be looked after again.

From the initial enquiry call to checking out in the morning, the service at this hotel was fantastic. Really lovely and helpful staff which make all the difference and would like to highlight Amber for being fantastic at her job - very natural way with guests that you don't find everywhere! The room itself was also fantastic - I stayed on Boxing Day, visiting family in the area for Christmas, and was delighted to receive an upgraded room. I was travelling with my dog, which I do a lot, and this was a stand-out hotel for a solo traveller plus dog companion - lots of space and they even leave a water bowl with treats and a ball on arrival in the room. Breakfast was also delicious - cooked breakfast options plus a cereal/fruit/croissants buffet, and I'm just sad I didn't get a chance to make use of the free drink and check out the bar, but there's always next time as I would definitely visit again and would highly recommend this hotel!

“A great stay”
Newly refurbished hotel and bar. comfortable beds, wonderful staff, great breakfast. Car parking at rear of hotel. 2 minutes walk to train and underground stations. Some good independent shops in the street and loads of eateries in the local area.

“Nice Surprise”

Really lovely hotel. We were upgraded to a suite on arrival which was a nice surprise. All the rooms have recently been refurbished and they are gorgeous. The bed was excellent and the room spacious. Very well soundproofed from the outside traffic. We also received a voucher for a complimentary drink at the bar which was a nice touch. The staff were so friendly but not gushingly so. Genuinely nice people who seemed to really enjoy their job. The bar was nice and lovely. There were a couple of Christmas parties going on but the place wasn’t packed just comfortably full with a nice atmosphere. Bar has a nice selection of gin, rum and whisky. They do need more bar staff at lunchtime though. Breakfast was very good. Well presented, nicely cooked and the coffee (from a machine) was good quality. Overall an excellent stay and would definitely recommend.
