“Nice hotel -- Great location”

If you want to be close to everything (the West End theater district, Picadilly Circus, tourist spots like the London Eye & Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, etc.) this hotel is in the perfect location. Just 1 block from Leicester Square, around the corner from Trfalgar Square, a few blocks from Picadilly Circus, we had a wide variety of restaurants and shops to choose from. The hotel room we were in was rather small by American standards, but it was clean, well maintained, and comfortable. We could see the London Eye from our window, and we were literally right behind the National Gallery. Guests must use their key cards to access the elevator at any time, and also the hotel entrance at night -- so we felt very safe. The front desk employees were pleasant & helpful, but it never saw the same person twice. However, since the hotel doesn't have public ice machines, I had to visit the hotel restaurant podium to get a bucket of ice for my room. That afforded me the pleasure of meeting Kim at the restaurant several times. She was delightful. Always smiling and genuinely seemed to care for each person she interacted with. I will definitely stay here on my next visit to London!

“Thistle Trafalgar”
Kim was very professional and managing 5 tables at a time she really took good care and quality of burger was the best The hotel is very well located and easy to commute and hotel is very nice and friendly I would recommend to visit the restaurant

“Kim is the best!”
Kim was a great bartender! Very nice and sociable and made our experience special! She brought so much laughter and great conversations to our table. We’ve talked to her for two nights now and everytime we saw her she was amazing! Kim has made our first trip to London so fun and amazing!

We didnt stay at the hotel but ate in the small restaurant as part of a Virgin Experience before a London show. Booking the meal was NOT straight forward ......but not the hotel's fault. We didnt stay at the hotel but ate in the small restaurant as part of a Virgin Experience before a London show. Booking the meal was NOT straight forward ......but not the hotel's fault. We had no meaningful confirmation. Our waitress Kim however managed to salvage things and was very helpful and attentive. The food was surprisingly good. The best burger my husband has had in a while and the fresh fruit salad was excellent!
