“Worn down room, but otherwise very nice.”

Clean room, but a bit worn down with drafty windows, loose handles, and towel hooks. Friendly and polite staff and good breakfast with lots of options. Halls and stairways also a bit worn down and very creaky stairs but everything was very clean.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. We stayed in one of the refurbished rooms and the bed and linen was so comfortable. We slept very well. The room was also very nicely decorated and a decent size. The hotel is well located in the city centre and surrounded by nice pubs , cafes and shops. We decided to use the park and ride at Redbridge and it saved us a fortune in parking fees. I do recommend this hotel and would certainly visit again.

“Midweek stay”

Just stayed for a couple of days in Oxford and decided to book this hotel . The staff on reception where very helpful and kind when we checked in had a room overlooking the high street. Just stayed for a couple of days in Oxford and decided to book this hotel . The staff on reception where very helpful and kind when we checked in had a room overlooking the high street. Really lovely room with a great bed and shower.and all kept to a very good standard. All in all a lovely hotel .the only small issue is the breakfast I felt the plates to be really small and the trays not being replenished very well . Will definitely being returning though in a perfect location to explore Oxford

The hotel is well located for the centre of Oxford. Our room, like many others, was located in the annex building which is reached via the car park and the dust bin area. It was particularly difficult when it was raining. There are no hotel staff in the annex building and the door was frequently left open. Be careful that you have locked your bedroom door as they do not close automatically. The car parking is expensive at £30 a day, you must handover your keys and you will be blocked in. We were not comfortable with this so we parked in Saint Clements Council car park about a 10 minute walk away. The only bar area in the hotel is laid out as a restaurant or breakfast area and we were told by a member of staff that it was only open till 9:30 at night. The overall hotel experience lacked a feel good factor.

City centre location very good within 5 minutes walk of centre. On site parking is £30 per night and extortionate. This should be noted on the website so as not to come s a shock. Room comfortable but bathroom 'tired'. No lift available. Breakfast disappointing. Orange juice from concentrate and very small for the price. Decaff coffee was instant. Some items in the full English were overcooked. Operation needs tightening.
