“Warm welcome”
Always a warm welcome from Anhar and the rest of the team when I come here! The breakfast team are great, kind, encouraging and a good way to start the day. If you need anything everyone is more than willing to help. I come to Birmingham every month and always chose this hotel for these reasons.

The staff are very friendly and disability aware and I felt very safe staying here as a wheelchair user. They showed me where to go incase of a fire and the cafe that is attached are so understanding about dietary requirements. The accessible rooms are nice and spaceous with everything at the hight of my wheelchair. In the bathroom there are two red emergancy cords with plenty of grab bars for transfering. There is also an emergancy button by the bed too. The pavements outside the hotel are in good condition too and it is easy to get to and from New Street Station. Overall I highly reccomend this hotel :)

Have stayed in the past, and was so good, I returned. I'm a wheelchair user and found the super accessible room perfect, only thing they could provide extra towels for wet room accommodation, as water tends to fill most the room. And only other thing is to have a couple of hooks by the shower so can hang up towel/clothes. The beds was lovely had a much better night sleep than I do at home, could do with the beds being double, or at least have staff hook both ends of the bed so it won't come apart as a double, as being a wheelchair user this is something I couldn't manage as it would mean moving the bed to do top and bottom ends. The shower was amazing and had a lush massage mode on too which was perfect after a long day. For a superoom price, it would have been nice to have a city view and not courtyard There are 3 fully working lifts in the hotel, they could only fit myself in my wheelchair and my partner in, but with luggage, only myself. The lifts could do with mirrors to help reversing in and out of them. The food was hit and miss dinner the first night wasn't very nice, dry and overcooked pie but provided feedback to staff on this. Breakfast wasn't good at all, just dry and cold. Dinner second night was a lot better and thoroughly enjoyed, and anhar was very welcoming and making sure guests and staff were ok and had everything they needed. Note if you get the meal deal this is only certain food, not much choice and no drinks included. Would stay again but probably wouldn't do the meal deal, would recommend this hotel
