Really enjoyed our 1 night family stay. We booked the family offer, 50% off for the second room (for kids under 16) and phoned to request connecting rooms, staff were really helpful over the phone making sure our rooms were reserved and also very friendly and helpful on check in. Really enjoyed our 1 night family stay. We booked the family offer, 50% off for the second room (for kids under 16) and phoned to request connecting rooms, staff were really helpful over the phone making sure our rooms were reserved and also very friendly and helpful on check in. Rooms were spacious and clean, and the requested rollaway bed was also set up in one room. Kids enjoyed having a bath and we got takeaway delivered to the hotel as we were too tired to go back out for dinner. There was a wedding on and some noise in the corridor late evening but it wasn't a big issue. The room was quite warm even with the air con on, it was an internal facing which might be why. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on the food. Parking for overnight guests was £4. Great value stay, would definitely return.

Just a weekend seeing friends. Hotel is great as usual. Rooms are quiet and beds are huge and mega comfortable. The executive lounge was fab as always and the people that work in the hotel are always super friendly and professional. I do miss the pool but there's a decent gym there. Breakfast in the restaurant at the weekend is an absolute must.Big shout out to the Lounge , room service and reception staff as they were exceptional.

“Good location with comfortable clean rooms”
Good location with comfortable beds and clean rooms, I had dinner at the bar that was ok, and breakfast was buffet and also good quality and ok. They charge £7 for parking which I feel should be free if you are staying there, the location is just off the M1 so quite convenient

“Not the best experience”

I have stayed at this hotel multiple times over the years, solo and with family. The hotel is very clean and always very nicely drcirsred around Christmas. Staff are generally friendly. Reception staff attitudes and level of friendliness varies. Some have been exceptionally helpful, others do the bare minimum but they have never been rude or unprofessional. Staff at the restaurant at breakfast have also been inconsistently helpful. On one occasion the chef was complaining to me that he was working by himself ( I had ordered fried eggs). On another occasion a male waiter made my then 12 yr old daughter, very uncomfortable by staring at her and trying to engage her in conversation! She looks older but she was very clearly still a child. This happened while she was by herself very briefly getting breakfast. So watch out for weirdos! Nonetheless I enjoy staying at this hotel even though they have now permanently closed the swimming pool, sauna and steam room. The gym is good. My main unhappiness relates to having been slapped with a parking fine at my most recent visit. This hotel used to have barriers at the car park and reception would give exit tickets, sometimes free, sometimes they charged £7 per night, depending on who was at reception ( very inconsistent). They no longer have barriers, they just have cameras (parking eye ltd ). I did not know this as I have not been for a couple of years. When I stayed in Dec 2024, staff at reception did not say ANYTHING about parking at check in OR check out. It was a very short trip on that occasion and I was constantly in a rush. The next thing I know , Parking Eye has fined me £60 ( £100 if not paid within 2 weeks). I appealed, they rejected and I paid , as I could not be bothered to deal with the stress. However the hotel had failed to inform me of their new parking rules and I am now £60 out of pocket. Not happy. Overall good hotel with good facilities and clean. Food is good. Staff attitudes and care for customers needs improving. Expensive for what’s on offer. Not best value for money.
