“First class hotel”
The hotel is a short, free shuttle to the airport. I got a free room upgrade, and the room was huge. The third floor interior room was quiet even with a big party in the atrium. The hotel is a short, free shuttle to the airport. I got a free room upgrade, and the room was huge. The third floor interior room was quiet even with a big party in the atrium. The staff was helpful, pointing me to a burger place a short walk away for a cheap dinner and a convenience store to buy breakfast for the flight. Hint: The #20 bus from downtown Austin stops right at the hotel, $1.25 vs whatever a taxi would cost. Hint: The hotel is round and it's not obvious how to get from a room to an elevator. The floor carpet has arrows, but they're hidden by the Jackson Pollack'y pattern.

I switched hotels from the Hyatt Place Austin Airport (which has higher overall reviews here on Trip Advisor) after having a terrible experience at the Hyatt. I switched hotels from the Hyatt Place Austin Airport (which has higher overall reviews here on Trip Advisor) after having a terrible experience at the Hyatt. The Hilton was able to get me a great room on the night of, bring me up foam pillows in place of the usual feather within 20 minutes of check-in, and has a shuttle that runs 24/7 with space on it at 20 to five in the morning the night before. Plus, the parking lot is easier to figure out and has unpaid parking for dropoff. Front desk staff was competent, quick, helpful, and spoke intelligent English. I will return to this hotel next time I need to stay at the Austin airport.

“Perfect for red-eye flight”
Best location next to the airport, with a shuttle that starts at 4:00 am. Good comfy room and beds. Great staff. Perfectly clean. The restaurant was very slow for dinner, apparently because there were a lot of room service orders. Probably need to put on more staff.
