“Not our first and not our last!”
Not our first time at this resort and will not be our last. The entire team they have here are awesome! We used the golf facilities, gym, spa, restaurants and beyond. Anytime something came up that could have derailed the stay, was immediately rectified by the team.

“The Little Things Matter”
Everything here is on point. Derek with golf, Katalin and Valerie with hospitality, the registration staff and the catering team!!! Always with smiles on their faces and pep in their step. Our work conference was better because of your people. Thank you.

“Great Resort”
Great Resort. Rooms are very nice. Service was great. Really enjoyed our stay! The restaurants were convenient. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We were a large crowd at the bar and the bartenders were working very quickly to service all of us.

My Amex 'upgraded' me to a 1 bedroom Master Villa. pictures online included roaring fireplace, sofa. I expected it to be much larger than it was. The front desk informed us it was newly renovated. When we arrived and looked around, my husband called to ask the front desk if this was really newly renovated and we were informed that it was only the first space that was renovated - not the bedroom/bathroom - which I think is the MAIN space people consider in a hotel room. It was 2 spaces. #1 space = entrance hallway kitchen & dining bench with sofa/fireplace. There were sliding doors to a small balcony which I didn't open as it is winter. #2 space for bed and bathroom. There were no dresser drawers/ cabinets for me to unpack so I lived out of a suitcase that I propped on the dining area bench. My husband requested more hangers to hang up his wardrobe for the next 4 days. The kitchen: had a sink and plenty of pots and 2 electric burners. There was not liquid dishwashing soap or sponge until the day I was checking out. (not helpful) I did try to heat up water and make tea one day, but there was no means of cleaning for 3 days, so it was not a resourceful enticing kitchen. I travel with a mini-blender and made daily smoothies. Would have enjoyed having soap to wash up. The bedroom: the mattress was lumpy and I don't expect this when I'm paying more than $300 night. It needed to be replaced. There were plenty of nice fluffy pillows. The bathroom: The shower had amenity jars fixed into the shower - can't be removed, or opened. The soap jar was non-functional. it has liquid soap in it, but pump did not bring that soap out. It couldn't be opened to get the soap either, so I had to stare at it and desire it while showering without. The rainshower was dripping my entire shower, and I don't like to wash my hair every day, especially not in cold winter mornings... but no choice here. That's okay, it made me crave my morning cappuccino that amazing properties like this one have!! Unfortunately for my stay from Jan 1-Jan4th, the cappuccino and espresso machines were not functional and I was to be satisfied with whatever coffees and teas they could serve. It was the best view I've ever had for breakfast overlooking an expanse of golf course greens. My husband mentioned that he tried to use the room microwave but wasn't sure how to unlock it since they were all locked. It took time, but I managed to hit the right buttons and hold the right buttons for some specified time and unlocked it. I think instructions on the microwave are needed for those that may be unfamiliar with a microwave lock. the property: is older. it is tired. In my humble opinion it is not in the shape to charge the fees it is commanding. There are other options. I will not be back unless the property offers me an opportunity to test out 'fully renovated' rooms that truly are fully renovated. The property is so large and spread out that I'd rather prefer a smaller property that allows me to get to my room or gym or cafe or shop in minutes vs a wintery walk - bundled up - to get to where I need to go. It was an okay experience - average for a hotel; but not really okay for a premium property charging $485/night.
