“The Corner Office for your event!”
The Corner Office at the Cutis hosted us for a company reception and anniversary celebration. The space was very nice, food and drinks were great, and Madison and the team there made everything so easy for us. Would highly recommend for events.

Our stay was nothing short of fantastic! From the moment we walked in, the hotel’s fun, quirky vibe set the tone for an unforgettable experience. The staff was warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. We had a few minor issues that were taken care of immediately. We stayed in the disco-themed room, and it was an absolute blast! The funky retro decor, vibrant colors, and groovy details made for such a fun and immersive stay. It was clean and comfortable. Recommend you get a themed room otherwise it's just regular hotel room. If you're looking for a sterile, cookie-cutter chain hotel, this might not be for you—but if you love personality and creativity, The Curtis is perfect! As for those who say the rooms are "dated, or “dirty” we found them to be stylish and well-maintained, with a nostalgic charm that fits the hotel’s theme perfectly. They are doing a lot of upgrading and renovating right now to make it even better. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of downtown. Perfect if you are seeing a show or ballet in the Theater District. This hotel is a a unique hem. Don’t let a few picky reviews deter you—this hotel is an experience in itself, and we can’t wait to come back!"

“Perfectly fine for our one night stay!”
The staff were very nice and the room was comfortable. It’s a great location in downtown Denver. It’s an older hotel so there is visible wear and tear in the hallways with wallpaper peeling and the bathrooms look older. It seemed very clean though! It’s an older hotel so there is visible wear and tear in the hallways with wallpaper peeling and the bathrooms look older. It seemed very clean though! We were there over the weekend and there are more affordable parking options in other garages.

“Quirky Hotel, But Some Hits and Misses”

Stayed at The Curtis for a work trip, and overall, it was just okay. The hotel definitely has a fun, quirky vibe with its themed floors—ours was the superhero floor, which was cool, but some floors were way more interesting (like the horror floor), while others felt half-finished, like they ran out of budget mid-design. The beds were comfortable, but the rollaway bed we requested for my friend was terrible—probably worse than any sofa bed I’ve ever seen. The room itself was fine, though not as clean as I’d expect. One of the highlights was the food at the conference—it was surprisingly good, and they did a great job accommodating my colleagues with dietary restrictions. The staff was also really friendly and attentive, which was a plus. I didn’t use much in the lobby, but we parked in the hotel’s garage, which was convenient. The famous DoubleTree cookie at check-in? It was… fine. A nice touch, but nothing special. Location-wise, it was great—about a 20-minute walk to the Capitol and the Denver Art Museum, so easy to explore the city. Overall, The Curtis met our needs for the conference, and the themed floors added a fun element, but I’m not sure I’d stay here again. If you’re into quirky hotels and don’t mind some inconsistencies, it might be worth a try!
