“Relaxing, quiet and comfortable !!!”

Comfortable bed and pillows. We actually got in the hot tub and it was wonderful. I was amazed on how the sound proof the walls were. There were several children across the hall, and once they made it to the room, we never heard them when they were in their room.

Staff was nice and breakfast was ok until I saw a roach! I let one of the food service workers know and she apologize and said she let the appropriate people know. Staff was nice and breakfast was ok until I saw a roach! I let one of the food service workers know and she apologize and said she let the appropriate people know. She said they had just had the area sprayed not too long ago. Aside from that the rooms were clean as well as the rest of the hotel. I’d still recommend this hotel.

“Mixed Experience”

It was a mixed experience. First the good stuff. The rooms were VERY clean. They have daily cleaning service unlike several other places that clean once or twice a week. It was refreshing. The normal amenities were there - microwave, refrigerator, etc. although we did not use them. The breakfast was OK, although I cannot say it was exciting. It was adequate. The biggest issue I had was that on the night of the 31st December, the toilet got clogged up. No one was available - and I can understand that. We were given a plunger. I managed to open up the clog, but it was a mess in the bathroom. Which I then had to clean and then shower to clean myself. No one from the hotel management / staff even bothered to check back. This is despite the fact I reported this to the from to the front desk while checking out the following day. I was expecting at least a courtesy communication. Similarly, while checking in there was a manual error with the room number which was written on the key cover by the from desk lady. This led us to the wrong room, which obviously we were not able to open. It was then corrected. We went to the correct room, the door lock light would turn green after swiping the card, but the door would not open. After a third trip to the front desk, we were advised the door handles had an issue and a work-around was possible. During all of this, no one bothered to walk to the 3rd floor room and help the guests (us) who have been struggling. This speaks of a lack of empathy and customer service. I completely understand things can happen and we all make mistakes. But simple human courtesy seem to have been lacking during the two instances I described. This leaves a bad taste.

Walked to a few restaurants, drove to the rest. Most of the coast in the area is private beach and the public one is under construction with no bathroom access😩
