Incredible hospitality! They were great to work us into the perfect rooms for our needs at the last minute when we had plans change and needed to stay in Lafayette overnight. Very nice suite! Incredible hospitality! They were great to work us into the perfect rooms for our needs at the last minute when we had plans change and needed to stay in Lafayette overnight. Very nice suite! Amazing that it is 225 years old, feels very true to the period. We stayed in the Voorhies and Louisiana rooms. Wooden floors, comfortable mattress, cozy and new pillows-a timeless feel. The breakfast french toast (cake? biscuit?) was phenomenal. We will be back!

“Lovely Place”
Lovely place. We stayed in the Bourbon Cabin. It was warm and cozy on a cold night. The breakfast was really nice with French toast, sausage, egg, juice and coffee. Lovely place. We stayed in the Bourbon Cabin. It was warm and cozy on a cold night. The breakfast was really nice with French toast, sausage, egg, juice and coffee. Nice people with good conversation around a family style table. The server was very pleasant and accommodating. Would definitely stay there again! Ps. You must go to Borden’s old time ice cream shop! Amazing!

The young man, Leo Jean, greeted us immediately and was so friendly. The accommodations we booked involved steep stairs that I did not think I could handle. Our request for a 1st floor room netted us the sweetest cabin ever! This cabin had two beds, bath and a full kitchen, but the best part was the front porch with a swing and rocking chair. The beds were perfect! I would highly recommend staying here. Everything was so nice.

Last minute get away to Lafayette, didn't want to stay in a cookie cutter hotel. I found Maison Mouton B & B and they had a small cottage room (Live Oak) available for our one-night stay. Last minute get away to Lafayette, didn't want to stay in a cookie cutter hotel. I found Maison Mouton B & B and they had a small cottage room (Live Oak) available for our one-night stay. It was everything we needed, Flat screen, Jacuzzi tub/Shower, Microwave, Fridge and Keurig, it even had a porch swing and bistro table. The included southern breakfast was delicious and filling. The biscuits were the lightest and fluffiest I've ever had. The ladies were so sweet. Our table mates were from all over the world. I'm sure the gardens are absolutely beautiful, but we were there after the big freeze. Booking was easy, we thought the rate very good. We would definitely return; it's in a great location.
