“Birthday cocktails”
Our bartender Daniel was absolutely fabulous!!!! He made our night and we will definitely be coming back. It is hands down best place to spend a birthday. The Montage is classy, elegant, clean and has live music during every day of the week. We came during the evening and loved every second.

“Beautiful place and wonderful hospitality!”
The Montage is stunningly beautiful and the entire staff was so kind. We really loved the piano player Steve and we had this amazing bartender named Daniel who made us these amazing cocktails based off our favorite liquors! They were incredible!

This is a wonderful hotel. its beautifully situated on the Laguna coast right above rock out croppings. The facilities and room are immaculate. But it's the service that really sets them above their competitors. You will never be served in plastic or paper. The rooms still have beautiful coffee and tea cups and real glasses in the bathroom. The rooms still have bathrobes and beautiful shampoos and products. They do not charge you extra for your bath salts and room service is 24/7 delivered with fresh flowers. You get the drift :) I LOVED it. Best employee experience--Israel in room service is like a ray of sunshine.

Consistently top notch and oh so lovely, The Montage never ages. It just keeps getting better. Everyone strived to make our 8 days utterly magnificent. Thank you to Elizabeth Ng for your kindness and friendship. You are the best. You don’t ever misd a beat. How you knew we were checking out I’ll never know. Thank you for the warm send off. Olga at the front desk was the first one to greet us and allocated us our favourite room. 7310…. I’ll dream about it till I return to the Montage. Everyday, the people at the loveliest spa and gym in the world greet me with cheerful hellos as I stroll in for morning yoga. Courtney at the spa desk, you couldn’t have been more caring. Thank you. I may not be the fittest but I know my yoga! I travel and enjoy yoga from the Dolomites to Hawaii. Better than the views are the amazing collection of instructors at the Montage. There was an interesting rotation of classes so we never got bored or too complacent. Powerhouse Holly, the angels that are Alyssa and Olivia…..I wish I could take you all back to Texas with me. I’d pay double to take your classes. Thank you for your passion and letting your beautiful spirits shine through. Classes were above all, meaningful. Locker attendants - Gemma, Irene and Zadith. You girls and your beautiful smiles brightened my days 1000%. Thank you for your hospitality and care. I will miss our chats. The food at The Loft and Mosaic was wonderful. We never got sick of the delicious fare all week. Sean at The Loft, you are a rockstar and we know you’re destined for greatness. Dee at Mosaic, you made our Sunday lunch with friends so special. We enjoyed the hot sauce at dinner and lunch! 😉 Lastly, to the incredible housekeeping (Yolanda et al) and valet staff (Nicholas et al), you started and ended our stay then made everything in between perfect. Parting was incredibly hard today but we will be back as we have for the past 15 years. If you’re on the fence about going, don’t be. The Montage is heaven on Earth and you’ll be pampered by an incredible bunch of people! Go! You won’t ever regret it.

“Beautiful Views”
You’re paying for the view and the scenery; it’s absolutely stunningly beautiful and amazing. Pools see nice and warm. The food wasn’t all that great in my opinion and we didn’t sleep well in the beds. Spa is very nice and exercise classes aren’t too early in the morning. Staff is extremely friend… more

Staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Resort could use some updating but it is still probably your best option in Laguna Beach.
