“Happy with my stay”
This is a solid mid-range hotel. Nothing fancy, but it’s clean, beds are comfortable, the staff is friendly and helpful, morning coffee is plentiful, and I’m just overall pleased. This is a solid mid-range hotel. Nothing fancy, but it’s clean, beds are comfortable, the staff is friendly and helpful, morning coffee is plentiful, and I’m just overall pleased. They do have breakfast— nothing fancy, but it includes waffles, scrambled eggs, and sausage, all good. This hotel isn’t advertising itself as near the beach, but the beach is, in fact, only about a 20-minute walk away, as is the touristy center of Oceanside.

What a great place to stay for not a lot of dollars! Destiny (?) checked us in and was very friendly. Was nice to be greeted by someone who had either resources or is knowledgeable about the area. She is a definite bright spot at checkin! The hotel is clean, well situated and fairly quiet for being in a busy traffic area. Attractions are close as are restaurants. Beds are nice, linens and towels are good. You can’t go wrong by staying here.

Love, Love, Love, writing reviews like this!! My husband and myself had a great stay at this Comfort Suites!! The sevice was over the top!! I was so delighted by the friendly service I received upon check-in. I was greeted by a lovely member of their staff, that was Nadia. As Nadia checked me in, she noticed my Choice Rewards status and thanked me for being a longtime rewards member. She also allowed me to help myself to a beverage and snack of my choice...Wow!! She was so nice and treated me as a real guest. What a difference from the previous hotel I had stayed at the night before. To go on about Nadia, I had food delivered and I had failed to request paper plates and untensils. I went to the front desk and asked if she could at least spare a few plastic forks, she said, yes and to help myself. She asked if I needed paper plates and said just to help myself. She just went far and beyond her job duties to accommodate me and she should be recongnized. The hotel itself was very clean and comfortable, free Wi-FI, and free parking. They had a pool and oustide spa, however, the spa appeared out of service, unfortunate, because my husband and I love our spa...we managed. They had a fairly decent breakfast and it was kept clean. The nice lady, Caritina, worked very diligently getting the tables clean. She worked with a sense of urgency in keeping the breakfast stocked. I really appreciated her helpfulness, and her kind and patient demeanor. I highly recommend this Comfort Suites if you have visit Oceanside. They were very accommodating to their guest!!

I hardly ever leave reviews but we encountered the most amazing and helpful hotel employee during our stay. Her name is Caratina and she ran the breakfast area. She was so kind, helpful, and friendly! We felt right at home as she bustled around taking care of everything and everyone. She kept everything well stocked and went above and beyond her job duties to offer great service to us and everyone else around. The hotel itself was your typical hotel, clean and comfortable, but the service Caratina provided was definitely the bright spot of our stay here. She made us feel right at home. The front desk employees were also friendly and helpful. I would stay here again for sure!

“Close to things but noisy.”
This hotel is within walking distance to lots of things 15 minute walk to the beach). However, it’s very noisy. There was traffic noise at all hours & we could hear our noisy neighbors. This hotel is within walking distance to lots of things 15 minute walk to the beach). However, it’s very noisy. There was traffic noise at all hours & we could hear our noisy neighbors. The air conditioner was very noisy & so close to the bed it made it hard to regulate the room temperature. Most of the staff was friendly & the property seemed relatively clean. Not sure I would stay here again.
