This hotel is a nice place to stay if skiing Little Cottonwood Canyon. From the moment we arrived the employees were friendly and attentive. They offer daily room cleaning service though we did not take advantage of that. The food in the Bistro was very good. We used it for both breakfast and dinner on several days of our five night stay. A nice feature of the hotel was the new Cottonwood Connect shuttle service. We used that for three days of skiing. Picks you up and drops you at the front door of the hotel. Gives you stress free access to either Alta or Snowbird. Overall a good stay and I would recommend.

“Great choice in the Sandy area”

As it is close to the main N-S highway of the area, it is super easy to arrive. Parking in plenty and although it had snowed a couple of days before it was clean. The hotel has a restaurant (I didn’t use it) but there are plenty of food options 5 min around. Rooms are amole and clean. Bathrooms are basic but with all you need. The only minus was the a/C unit. Very efficient but quite loud. Other than that, great experience and will go back if in the area.

Stayed a few nights at this property with my daughter last week. The hotel was very quiet with few guests. Staff was friendly and the room was clean and pretty standard for a Courtyard. Most disappointing however was the lack of free breakfast as a Marriott Titanium. One of the primary reasons to be loyal to a hotel chain is to save money on family trips. This is the first Marriott property I've ever stayed at that didn't offer elite breakfast. It is pretty disappointing to stay 75 nights a year and not even get a free cup of coffee.

The hotel is super convenient to go to the Mall and a bunch of restaurants. Not convenient to go skiing, they had told me there is a shuttle outside, there was not, apparently there is an option for $88 while left costs ~26. However there is no driver to take you back from mountain, no uber, no lift. Make sure you go when uta is working. UTA IS FREE W SKI PASSES BUT TO GO THERE, ROUND TRIP costs about ~22 daily. I have seen people smoking weeds just outside the hotel and one morning someone hit my door and later I found a packet of cigarettes outside my door. Some of the staff are very nice and trying to be helpful but the communication between them and accuracy of info is not reliable. As an example on Nov 27th they told me go skiing on UTA and I found out UTA doesn't start the ski service till 29th so I let them know so they provide correct info to the rest of guests. I did not see any other skier in this hotel during my 3 nights stay which was cut short during injury at Alta.

this room was booked for me by the company I was working with. They supposedly had a "rate" but it was more expensive than if I had booked on other sites. Front desk people nice but not knowledgable of the area, it ever amazes me how people do not travel around their own towns. Bistro overrated and overpriced.
